St. John Neumann Catholic Church

One of the prettiest churches around Austin. Well worth stopping by on a Sunday morning if you're in the area. The dome is obviously spectacular. It's actually not painted but a mosaic and someone told us after mass that they spent $4MM+ on it. The congregation seemed very well off too (there was a Chopard watch in my vicinity) which explains how a church can afford a dome like that, but they also seemed quite pleasant. A friendly patron noticed my girlfriend and I were new and gave us a tour after mass. My girlfriend did mention that the Preist was a bit hard to hear but I never noticed because I was staring at the dome the whole time.

The acoustics in this beautiful Catholic Church are the one venue aspect that interferes with the experience offered by this unique setting. I adore the architecture and the beautiful finishes throughout this church. I only wish that I could clearly understand all the words spoken at Mass and truly at all events inside the sanctuary.

St. John Neumann is a gorgeous church with an even more beautiful dome. Fr. Bud was very welcoming and the music was excellent at the wedding. The church has a lot of reverb, so it makes it harder to understand, but the cantor and the priest slowed down their speech to where you could understand what was betting said pretty well.
I would totally recommend the campus for anyone wanting to take pictures.

I went to the 9am Sunday Mass. Stunning church. Almost like a palace. The ceiling has so much Catholic teaching beautifully, artistically portrayed.

Love the serenity here. It invites to prayer. I heard a beautiful homily from the Deacon on January 1st. The singing was awesome.

Wonderful church with great people. We have been members at SJN for about four years and very involved in the youth ministry programs. The church is well organized and the people are very welcoming.

The church is beautiful. Possibly one of the coolest modern churches in North America. The people are great and the liturgy is really good. Very friendly to visitors

St. John Neumann’s is a beautiful place to worship and has wonderful parishioners and staff. They also have many Ministries where you can find the niche for you! What a blessing!!!

Beautiful Catholic Church, wonder priests in Father Bud and Father Red. The Italian mosaic is incredible, all hand laid.
