Stateside at the Paramount

I greatly appreciated seeing the film Stormy Weather on the screen. The energy in this space is classic. I wasn't aware that this was were African Americans would watch their movies back then. Much respect to preserving this! I definitely plan on coming back to see more!

I enjoyed 2 films here during the Austin Film Festival 2023. The venue is tidy and clean, including the updated restrooms upstairs. I'll come back to watch more films in this quaint theatre.

Beautiful theatre! I don't know how this is not mentioned more on top sights to see in Austin. Make sure you check out the bathrooms as well! So pretty! I felt transported to another time!

Had a blast seeing Becky Robinson here! Not a bad seat in the house.

SXSW is ALWAYS great here.. I even got to see John Wick 4 before it was in theaters..

During SXSW visited this theater which had a gray stucco interior, which was less ornate than the exterior. The theater far less ornate than other theaters in the area and gave off a community theater vibe. Audio in the venue was good, and the smaller seating arrangement made it easy to interact with the cast after the showing.

Love this venue! The smaller cousin of the Paramount Theater. A great place to catch films and intimate concerts. Come on see the show!

We attended a teacher appreciation event that featured two outstanding bands. The food, drinks, and entertainment were amazing. This is the third event I've attended there. The first two were Steven Van Zant from Bruce Springsteen's band; the event was Teach Rock which helped with historical curriculum for classrooms. It was another teacher appreciation event.
I love this place!

The Paramount is a really cool throwback theater. The staff were friendly.

We saw Pat Metheny. He was excellent. The acoustics were superb which really enhanced the experience.

It was our first visit. It was an exceptional evening.

Awesome show! A Charlie Brown Christmas performed by Austin Chamber Music Society....keeping the music of Vince Guaraldi alive and well!!

I am always very enthusiastic about getting to go to an event here. It feels much more cozy than the Paramount, and even sitting far in the back doesn't seem so bad. It's basically the same set up as the Paramount, but with only one level of seating vs the 3. All the chairs are very comfortable and make you feel at home no matter what you are watching. So do yourself a favor and go see something here.

This is my favorite music venue!! It is so intimate - the last row isn't that far from the stage. On top of that, the seats are comfortable & there's legroom - sorry, Paramount! :)

Really a great venue! It's beautiful, the acoustics are phenomenal and there's really not a bad seat in the house...Wengo every year for the Moontower Comedy Festival and it never disappoints.
