Wow, the nurses and all the staff in the Ambulatory Surgery Center were really incredible. Nurse Lori was especially great and really set a positive tone from the start. I was nervous but everyone was so patient, kind, and understanding. They did everything possible to make me feel comfortable and tailor to my medical needs. The anesthesiologist (Julie or Judy?) was also really incredible. All of the OR nurses and staff are doing great work. I'm really thankful that I was here and not anywhere else because they have some excellent people working here. The only complaint I had was hospital security and police were pretty rude and kicked me out when I got there a little too early (they tried to convince me I was in the wrong place), so I waited in my car. I also had to leave pretty early right after, when I wasn't really awake yet, but I understand they need these beds and rooms asap. All around, great staff here, keep up the excellent work. Thank you all so much for helping me and being so patient and kind. 10/10

This is a very nice facility and is well kept and clean. Impressed. Definitely recommended for procedures. They also have a very kind and professional staff.

It’s nice that there is an H-E-B pharmacy inside that has lots of snack and drink options for.

The staff was awesome and the facility is beautiful: brand new, easy to navigate (unlike most medical office buildings), and very clean. I saw Chiquita Laird and she was so nice!! They also have iPads for your paperwork which makes life so much easier (especially for a person with terrible handwriting). Lastly, they have a lab onsite which is so convenient. The blood draw I got was probably the least painful I've ever experienced!

They always take good care of me and care about my needs. As a young woman, they care about me and my health issues instead of brushing it off as “weight gain” or “hormones”. I am so glad to be able to find a team of doctors, nurses, and staff that actually care about their patients and their health issues. Sarah Felderhoff is the best ❤

I've never experienced a healthcare system like UT Health and it's a breath of fresh air! Not perfect (they made a relatively small mistake), but overall super organized, well-coordinated, on top of stuff, knowledgeable, and everyone who works there is really warm and friendly, from the receptionists and custodians to the Medical Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Doctors, etc. I changed insurance companies this year and needed to establish care with a new PCP anyway, and then needed to see a medical provider suddenly/unexpectedly when I broke my finger and was able to get into their walk-in clinic quickly and easily, even before I was established as one of their patients. And, they take most insurances, including MAP (Travis County's indigent-care program), which is tremendously helpful for continuity of care. But the vibe is so different than most clinics that provide care to folx with lower income! Bright, colorful, open spaces with lots of natural lighting, aesthetically-pleasing architecture. They even have a note in exam rooms saying please make yourself comfortable while you're waiting for the doctor to come in and feel free to dim the adjustable lights based on your comfort! I hate bright fluorescent lights and they tend to trigger headaches and migraines for me, so this is a big deal. DIGNITY.
The only bummer is you have to pay for parking because of the location, but I learned that they do validate parking for patients with MAP, but still worth it for the quality of care.

I've really loved my experience at UT Health Austin, specifically with the Musculoskeletal Institute Neck & Back Pain Center. Dr. Queralt and staff are always respectful and thorough and genuinely care about the outcomes of their patients. I've also seen a LCSW and PharmD through the clinic and have had wonderful experiences with them both.

If you need excellent medical care in Austin look no further than UT Health. These doctors are the best of the best.

Their phone system is terrible, but once you are an established patient you can avoid it completely.

Great healthcare providers and support staff. One physician I met with in the Sports & Injury Clinic, Dr. Curry Koening, has a very impressive resume; he seems to be equally impressed with himself. His bedside manner was not to my liking. Fortunately, none of the other physicians in that clinic or UT Health Austin with who I have met were that way.

I do not understand any of these negative comments. Finding UT Health has been the best experience I’ve ever had with a medical practice. I first saw Dr. Koenig, chief of the Musculoskeletal Dept., who immediately diagnosed the problem that every other orthopedic surgeon in town had not. He is an amazing orthopedic surgeon. I then saw Dr. Trevaeso in the Women’s Clinic and she was equally amazing and put me with their pelvic therapist who resolved other issues that had been misdiagnosed for years. I will never see another doctor in Austin outside of UT Health. It has state of the art technology in a beautiful facility and most of the doctors also teach at Dell Medical School. Had surgery at Dell Seton which is another review but it is as equally amazing as UT Health. If you want real healthcare and not to be just churned through quickly for profit, this is the place to go.

This is specifically a shout out to McKenna in the ambulatory surgery unit, where I had cancer excision surgery today. She went out of her way to help me figure out where I needed to be even through a lot of early morning confusion. She was cheerful and kind even when things were weird. She was also very kind to my friend who was picking me up and remembered our names and details. The whole surgical team was awesome, but McKenna came in clutch when I was scared and confused before my appointment even started. Five stars, highly recommend.

Shout out to Dr. Reilly and her team! She’s a terrific OBGYN who advocates for her patients, listens, and truly cares. She’s always on top of things and really takes into account your history, current symptoms, and follows up.
I’m so grateful to have found her and have her take on my care.

I highly recommend Dr Buckley. I’m only one week post linx and HH repair so it is too soon for me to comment on the surgery success (recovery has been a bit difficult-none of which was Dr Buckley’s “fault”). This review though is about how professional, personal and caring Dr Buckley is. I had anxiety about surgery and almost cancelled. He talked to me over the phone twice the week before surgery to alleviate fears and further explain to me what would be done. He called this week personally about some bowel issues I’ve been dealing with and spent 15min on the phone. He cares. I’m a nurse and worked with surgeons for years in the hospital and I can tell you-this is not a typical surgeon. He will look you in the eyes and treat you like a person. He listens to you. I cannot recommend him enough to my friends, family and patients now. (His office staff is also Awesome, love Lisa!)

I went to the work life clinic for Dell Medical School at UT Health Austin today and it was amazing! My check in was smooth (thanks to Cierra). My vaccine and TB blood test was awesome and painless (thanks to Josh). The entire staff was extremely helpful, kind, and empathetic. I appreciate the support here at this clinic. Thank you to all staff!

I see Dr. and Mrs. Frohman. Each visit they have been caring, knowledgeable and thorough. They take their time, they never once made me feel like they were in a hurry. The receptionist had people and phone calls constantly, yet she somehow made you feel you were the only one. I saw her sit down and assist a woman who was having trouble filling out her necessary paperwork on the tablet.
This is the best experience I’ve ever had with a Dr. office.

MSK Institute EXCELLENT: I had a total hip replacement: From the beginning, I was met by smiling knowledgeable staff. I made myself comfortable in the exam room where medical staff came to me instead of moving from room to room or to different addresses in Austin. It was easy to get appointments that were offered the same week or the next week. Dr Karl Koenig the orthopedic surgeon emphasized that I am part of this team that is created for me to take an active part in my health care. I felt like the care is patient centered. Of note, Dr Koenig always responded to my messages through patient portal. I sent a lot of questions. He always responded with answers that helped me same day or next day. That type of access to one’s physician is incredible and really decreased my anxiety. I had a spinal for a total hip replacement. It was great!! Hospital staff were superb. Dr Koenig always answered my questions. The surgery began at 9 am and I walked with a walker out of the Dell Seton Medical Center to go home at 5pm SAME DAY! Dr Koenig did an amazing job. Before surgery I had left hip pain referred to my leg that was on pain scale 1-10 a 12. After surgery that pain is resolved. I have some expected post op pain that is quite manageable. My hip pain is gone. I ambulate well with walker. I am amazed.…absolutely amazed how well I feel. The hip replacement surgery process was smooth and quick. For joint problems and especially hip osteoarthritis I absolutely recommend the Dell Seton UT Medical School MUSCULOSKELETAL INSTITUTE and Dr Karl Koenig and the team working with him. Thank you for excellent expert professional friendly and personalized care. A big HURRAH for all of you!

Excellent organization of volunteers & staff. Fast, friendly and well-organized COVID vaccination location. They do keep a watchful eye afterwards to ensure you’re not having side-effects, promote technology for after-checks/ follow-up & 2nd vaccination reminders plus super efficient! The UT task force of volunteers is super- impressive!

Everyone was extremely friendly and the place was very clean and updated. Exceeded my expectations in every way, plus Dr. Ethan Meltzer was amazing as was his nurse. We feel blessed to have this place.

After having had 3 hip surgeries fail (primarily due to recurring infections) during the previous 2 years while under the care of other MD's and hospitals, my wife and I can definitely say that matters changed hugely towards the positive while under the care of Drs. Kevin Bozik and Alex Rothy of UT Health - Austin. The whole process (including underlying educating of us for surgery) was excellent. My wife's prior surgeon had advised us that there was nothing else he could do for us except remove her hip entirely and leave her in a wheel chair for the rest of her life. Our response was THAT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN! We subsequently met with Dr. Bozik and he told us that UT Health was in business to handle the more challenging cases. He readily took us on and guided us thru & performed surgery that came out perfectly - all while the Covid-19 pandemic was raging around us. We cannot say enough great things about Drs. Bozek and Rothy and recommend him (them) to anyone fortunate enough to be able to use his (their) skilled services. 5 stars easily given for the services and competentcy received!

I recently had knee replacement and the UT Health Austin orthopedics clinic did a wonderful job. I highly recommend it if you need to have knee surgery.

For many years I worked for one of the major hospital systems in Austin, and in that role was lucky to meet lots of surgeons.....including many orthopedic surgeons. The good news is that we have in Central Texas several really, really good orthopedic surgeons. The EVEN BETTER NEWS is that there is a relatively new doc in town who is also a great orthopedic surgeon - Dr. Karl Koenig.

Before my surgery I asked around about Dr. Koenig with other doctors and nurses. They all said the same thing - a great surgeon with an obsessive attention to detail. I found that to be very true. But what really struck me was not just his attention to detail, but his really intense attention to my concerns, and my post-operative goals. He patiently answered all my questions, and even more than that, he probed to see if I had concerns or questions that I wasn’t talking about. I really felt like he truly cared about not only the surgery, but also my recovery and my well being.

Knee replacement is a tough surgery....make no mistake about it. But during some of the toughest times during those first couple of weeks after surgery, Dr. Koenig would check on me himself, and have good advice and encouragement that helped me get through the tough times.

In addition to Dr. Koenig, the entire orthopedic service operation at UT Health Austin is excellent. The clinic is efficient. Everyone - from the folks at the front desk to the nurses and the x-ray technicians - are attentive, supportive, nice and pay attention to your needs. You feel like you are part of a “system” that is built to take great care of you.

Also, the new Dell Seton Medical Center at UT Austin is an incredible hospital. Cutting edge technology, gorgeous rooms, great nursing care and good food.

I know that Dr. Kevin Bozic is the “big shot” surgeon that the Dell Medical School recruited to Austin from San Francisco, and he is truly a great surgeon and a wonderful new asset for Austin. I believe the orthopedic clinic which he runs is the result of his grand vision. And like I said, Austin has a number of really great orthopedic surgeons. I think we should add Dr. Koenig to that list.

UT Health Austin WorkLife clinic is the occupational health and urgent care provider for our staff at The Sobering Center. Dr. Bernacki and all of the other medical providers have been supportive of our mission. They provided guidance for the healthcare needs of our staff. Parking is very easy and free. The building is futuristic with perfect detail given to the design of the clinic. The providers are all smart and friendly. Clinical staff are helpful and wonderful to work with. I shopped around to St. Davids, MedSpring and Concentra and found UT Health to be the most comprehensive and valuable OHS provider. It is a major plus that they accept most insurance as well as worker's comp for urgent care needs. All of my employees have come back saying "that place was so cool" "the staff was so friendly" and "my visit was so quick." I look forward to working with UT Health for a long time.
