It's sad to see these good, old fashioned hardware stores going away. My family and I came to Marseilles in the spring of 1981 when I went to work at LaSalle generating station. On my day off, one of my first stops was Gleason's Hardware to spend some overtime money. Loved the variety and friendly service. You will be missed!

Love this old time hardware and furniture store. . lovely clerks who are prompt to help. There is a little bit of everything here so stop on in and enjoy a store that has captured the old hardware store feel

Gleasons is great and knowledgeable. I personally give Michelle & Brent an A+++ they have in there pretty much whatever ya need and will explain how to use it if your unsure
