Fantastic ice cream treats & a decent selection of food items as well. The new location on Main Street in Franklin is much more accessible for folks looking for a quick ice cream fix. Love the espresso milkshakes...check it out!

I will first say, this place is so cute and has the best ice cream my family and I have ever had. We come from MD to our vacation property in Sugar Grove WV, and every time we always take a trip to Moe
Fatz.
Besides that, to make this place even better, the owners are the most kind, good hearted people we’ve met. My husband and I, along with our 5 year old daughter were getting ice cream there last week when a nice couple stopped us and pointed out a puddle of oil under our car. Luckily we hadn’t driven any further, but the most amazing part is how the owners of Moe Fatz bent over backwards to help us get it fixed. On a Saturday morning, their busiest time in the shop, and in between their kids softball games, they helped us figure out how to get our car back on the road and refused any money for their help! I have never met such wonderful people in my life. So if you are anywhere near Franklin WV, stopping at this little ice cream shop is a must!

Moe Fatz became a welcome addition to the little town of Franklin about ten years ago. The place has changed hands twice since it opened with each owner making it better. It started out as a retro ice cream place with the normal selections of soft serve, sundaes, milkshakes, plus my personnel favor which is the cheesecake creation. The third owner has brought real food to the place. It is one of the best place to eat in town. It has an oldtime diner feel. I love the way this place has evolved

This was our 2nd time there tonight and it was great. It is a wonderful little place to grab some ice cream and the prices are good also.

We have only gotten ice cream here so far. Friendly staff, nice selection, and a decent price for their portion sizes. Good enough that we went two days in a row. 😀

Lovely funky retro ice cream parlor throwback to the '50s and '60s. Cheery staff with soft-serve in chocolate and vanilla with a flavor-of-the-week (black cherry this week). Worth driving out of your way along a gorgeous valley for a sweet time!

Moe Fatz is a hip and groovy little shop that offers delicious ice cream and a neat experience. The service is always friendly and fun. Plus if you have a pooch they will make him/her a little sundae with vanilla ice cream, a little peanut butter and a milk bone on top, with the proceeds benefiting a local animal shelter. A delicious way to end a day of fishing.
