First time here. Excellent. Staff friendly, food was amazing. Definitely recommend to anyone. Coming back for sure. Great place!

Bien Trucha is where it's at. The food and drinks are amazing and the customer service is top notch. I had the bien trucha tacos with rice and beans and it was all delicious. I have heard complaints about the pricing but for the high quality of the food, I do not mind paying that price. I have eaten at several Mexican restaurants in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs and these are my favorite tacos. I can usually pass on rice and beans at most restaurants because they tend to be a filler and lack flavor, but I never pass on them when I come to Bien Trucha. While you have a designated server, the staff works together as a team to bring your drinks and food. This allows for a very attentive service team. Everyone we interacted with was very kind and welcoming. Right away, our server checked in with us about food allergies in our party, which I rarely see happen anymore. As someone with allergies, I greatly appreciate it. We had the added bonus of being seated in one of their dining igloos which made everything feel extra special. We had a wonderful time and will be back soon.

Loved Bien Trucha! The tacos were amazing. They have a wide variety of tacos and cocktails. Will definitely return.

I cannot express enough how pleasantly surprised I was when I walked in here. I didn't read reviews, nor did my research, I just had a taste for tacos. I had seen this restaurant from across the street before, but had no idea how nice it is on the inside! The decoration and atmosphere is incredible. Very hip, fair prices, cooks and wait staff are well experienced in their field. Whomever designed their menu of dishes deserves the extra Star 🌟. I had my tacos, added some beans and fell in love with the rice and poblano rajas and cheese. Portions are perfect, not overwhelming. Presentation of the dishes is very unique. Craft beer and good selection of drinks are also available. I am looking forward to returning and maybe sit outside in their patio this time. Loved IT!!

Love Bien Trucha! Wait staff was amazing (Ricky Bobby!). Margaritas were top notch. The actual Bien Trucha dish is my favorite, Barbacoa and Tres Leches with Wildberry sauce!!

Great visit.this spot is kinda small,but very,very cozy,clean and welcoming.has a small bar for walkins that seem to seat about 8-10 people.stainless counter with great libations in sight.we had the guac and queso both were great.we also had the "nights speacial" shredded chicken,yummy.the steak was ok,the fish taco,s were great.all our drinks were fire.will be back.

They never fail to execute delicious meals! From the drinks to their dessert just flawless! Monday through Friday social hour: 4pm - 5:30pm half off traditional margaritas & Mexican beer! The staff is so friendly!

My wife and I finally made it out! Simply amazing! Los Tacos were soooo delicious. The drinks were also amazing. I will be stopping by now more frequently. Gracias!

FANTASTIC!
This is a small space and Reservations are recommended. It is a bit pricey but you will be satisfied.
The staff greet you like family. The indoor space is cozy, plenty of tables. The music playing was a bit loud for me, hard to talk over at times. There is a nice Patio section for when the weather is good and Pods when it's not perfect.
I started with Guacamole Tradicional and a Bourbon cocktail special that was too good!
The Guacamole was spectacular, the chips are from a bag, so sad 😞.
The Tacos blew my mind! Small tortillas that are FILLED with Meat. I had 1 each of the Bien Trucha, Pastor, Panza, and my NEW FAVORITE Quiubo.
I will be inviting friends and family to meet up here as often as I can.

Simply the best tacos in the suburbs, every taco is a culinary experience. Been going here for years and never disappoints.
Also their pods are such a vibe!

We dined in the little igloo outside and it was fantastic! Nice and warm, very cozy. Leo was a wonderful server and was very friendly. The pimiento soup was very flavorful and creamy. Barbacoa tacos were absolutely perfect. Margaritas were top notch. Will definitely come back here, was worth the drive!

Was also covid-safe, the servers wore masks when we requested it.

Our group of six were seated almost immediately. The place was very nice, with a darker ambiance. Everything we had was Amazing. The drinks, soups, apps, and the drinks were all delicious. And the tacos were amazing. You're going to pay for it. But it's all worth it.

I love to post photos of the food. However, when this food came, I was so excited I completely forgot to take pictures of it. That should tell you something. 😂 We reserved one of the individual huts for about six people. There was plenty of room. Sunday evening was not busy at all. Note if you go with a group of people, they will put multiple tacos on one tray and you have to figure out which is yours. But let me tell you about the food since there are no photos. It was amazing! There is a guacamole of the day, that day it was watermelon guac! So creative, and yummy. The regular guacamole is amazingly creamy and delicious as well. There is also an elote dip and a side... Both are incredible!! The shrimp tacos were delicious. A note for large groups, they will not split the check or allow you to tell them a specific amount for each card. Either one person pays the whole amount or it is divided evenly. Highly recommend regardless! Enjoy the photos of the different margaritas, one watermelon, one avocado, one peppino and one strawberry!

I stepped in last night for a quick bite to eat. Since it was just me at ate at the bar.
I was expecting good food and good drink- I was blown away with the bartender/server, Omar! He gave me great recommendations for food, and that man knows his tequila!! I was very impressed and will be back soon.

Food was AMAZING! Overall experience: outstanding. We had a reservation for 6:15pm and was sat right away. Waitress was nice and explain the items on the menu. The location is small but that did not take away from the experience. The steak tacos were excellent and so was the shrimp dish (see pictures). I would highly recommend this restaurant! I will be going back soon.

We traveled from out of town and opted for this top-rated restaurant on TripAdvisor instead of advice from locals and were so glad we did. The al fresco dining was perfect for the calm weather after a couple storms, and the tacos were to die for. I didn’t consider myself a fan of churros but was pleasantly surprised by the different take on the traditional dessert. I’d highly recommend this restaurant to all, even over prestigious options in the city.

Stopped here for lunch with a co worker just as they opened for the day; and we did not regret it we both got the Bien Trucha Special with the strawberry limeade and it was definetly top notch. Very tasteful and just plain out delicious

One of my favorite places for dinner, for sure. Their flavors are authentic and superb. The staff is courteous and very accommodating. Highly recommended.

Went to the new Nacho Burger side, twice last week because our first visit was so good. Quick meals here, and very good nachos and burgers! No reservations. Order at the counter or from your seat. Ricky the bartender is the best!!! Very personable and gives great service. We would return because of him even if the food wasn’t as good as it is!

Always a great time with amazing food and drinks! They've done a great job with restrictions and have worked hard to maintain the integrity of the dining experience. We had our faves and tried a new taco as well. Plz being back PESCADILLAS 😊😊😊
