Great bar! Very cool decor, really nice bartender and a great Manhattan! They have music and cool stuff that we didn't even participate in and still this place rocks.

The Townsend is a fantastic, comfortable downtown bar near the Capital. Always has expertly poured cocktails and delicious snacks. There's not a lot immediately nearby, so it is great that they can take care of drink, food, and entertainment. Go there with confidence.

I was pleasantly surprised at my last visit. Cultural art events happening regularly! A nice change of pace from all the other boring bars around. Great cocktails. Good service.

Loved, loved, loved this place!!! My wife and i could not have been more blown away by the wonderfully cool, hip, stylish place...with an amazing vibe. You must have the cheese and meat charcuterie...and the craft drinks are consistently amazing! We are from Dallas and we will long for this place.

Highly recommend The Townsend. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff/bartenders, excellent cocktails, and one of the most beautiful bars in Austin. It could be considered a little pricey, but you absolutely get what you pay for. They have a great Happy Hour if you don't want to splurge on full price drinks, however the carefully crafted and seasonally changing cocktails are definitely not something you want to miss.

Inspired cocktails expertly crafted to suit all tastes. Frequent shows in their "Listening Room" from live bands and DJs to stand up comedy. A quirky nook on Congress across from the Paramount that's perfect for pre-gaming as well as post show drinks.

This is a cute bar. The cocktails are amazing and priced well. The staff are amazing. I really genuinely enjoy this place, it's no where near as pretentious as it looks.

A beautiful venue with truly fantastic craft cocktails and a modest assortment of zippy bar snacks (hot nuts, charcuterie, crab dip, etc.) A very lush and sensuous environment worth the visit for a special evening - or any time.

Sweet dig for a chill evening with an uplifting flair. Bartenders are super chill and the drinks are tasty. Good music is usually playing in the back!
