West Austin Neighborhood Park

AWESOME and fully fenced in dog park. Dogs and owners were all friendly. It was funny how the owners kind of match their dogs. There were plenty of water bowls and it’s a decently sized park. There wasn’t any mud, but I’m not sure when it rained last… there’s plenty of seating and two gates at opposite corners for entry/exit. Unfortunately, I’m just visiting and recently read about the little-known-about respiratory virus spreading among dogs, so I don’t think we will be back for a while :(

Highly recommend this park after this virus settles down.

Very nice park tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Austin. Lots of different areas, nice playground, walking trail, and bathrooms. Very nice community feel, you can tell that the local neighborhood residents shows up here and mingle. Very clean. Looks like there is probably a splash pad that is shut down for the winter. We came here after discovering Pease park was under construction. Very pleased with our choice. We will be back for sure.

Dog park is great! Hours are different for the dog park. Fenced in area and off leash, also the rest of the park is dog friendly but on leash. There is a water spigot near the north end of the fenced in area for dogs, and plenty of bowls left by other folks. Also plenty of poop bags just in case you forgot yours!

Hands down the best dog park in Austin! The community of people is wonderful and the dogs have a ton of space to enjoy the park and one another! All dog owners are super responsible, which allows me to actually relax when I’m here 😇

Great hole in the wall dog on 10th. Feels like the old Austin I'm used to. Very clean, with exceptions for those that don't pick up after their dogs. Lots of seating and water for the dogs too. Highly recommend it.

A pretty nice Park to relax and take in the day. There is a gated area that allows dogs to roam free and interact and play with other dogs. My golden definitely enjoys that on our strolls through the Clarkville neighborhood.

Fenced in dog park is small but is frequented by other caring pet people. No one here has overly aggressive pups and everyone pays attention to their dogs interactions. Multi level is fun for when your done decides he is part mountain goat. I choose this park over closer ones regularly.

There is also a water supply that isn't a mud hole. I love this as my dog is white and has long fluff. I don't want to bathe him everyone I take him out!

This is a very nice park in a nice and quiet neighborhood. We went for the dog park and had a blast! The park is on an incline so the dogs can get some extra exercise as they run and play. It does have two picnic benches inside with tons of lawn chairs to sit and watch. Waste receptacles are located on the outside of the fences which keep the place pretty much spotless. Dogs had a great time and will definitely be back!

Great park for dogs and meeting neighbors

Great little park to gather with friends with young kids. There are not many picnic tables but plenty of spots on the grass to lay a blanket and rest or have lunch. The pool is only open in the summer months and not as perfect for very small kids or for lap swimming. It's a rather small (for a public pool) circular pool.

Lots of shaded area to sit with chairs, balls all around for the dogs as well as water jugs, water bowls, and a hose if that isn’t enough. My puppy had lots of fun and made many friends.

Great neighborhood park for dogs with a fenced area and open area. Quiet and nice people the day I was there. Clean with a water fountain and some leftover tennis balls to play with.

It's a neighborhood park, and we went there for the dog park. Plenty of space for dogs to run around and a part of the park is in three levels so the dogs can go up and down them for even more exercise. Regulars brought buckets of water for dogs to drink and they can be refilled right outside the gate to the dog park.

Small but well kept. No permanent water inside the park but ppl have filled two 5gal buckets to use inside the park. Lots of trees for shades, great for those hotter sunny days.

One of only two fenced-in dog parks in Austin. This one is fairly small and can get a little crowded. There's some seating for owners, and lots of room for the dogs to run around.
There's also a neighborhood pool and playground at the park. I didn't use either, but they both look very nice.

Super great place for puppers of all sizes. They have a hose and water always available for them, and chairs and a couple of picnic tables at each corner for people to use. We love this place!

Enjoyed bringing my dog to this park. It’s spacious enough for the dogs to run around and also has chairs and benches for owners to sit and enjoy. Also like the fact of a pool and a play area.

Love this park. The dog park was the section we used. Everyone is so nice and the place is kept clean. Really a great place to spend time with your dog and other dog lovers.

Always a gorgeous spot to come let your pup run around, or just to take a stroll. This is a great neighborhood park.

I wish there was grass, definitely going home with at least a little dirt, but otherwise fantastic and the dogs are usually much better mannered than at other dog parks in austin.
