Great place for a stroll, jog, or biking. Nice trails to be able to do all three.

There is a dome next structure that's good for kids to play in. Several swing sets and a playground area.

Free parking can be found all along Parkway road. There are also two very small parking lots that fill up fast. Easy enough to find parking, though.

You can easily spend over an hour walking, lounging in the dome net and letting the kids play. There's some swings and a couple other things for kids to play on. We had a very relaxing visit. Definitely worth checking out.

We really enjoyed our time here. The restrooms were clean, water fountain with bottle refill, lots of picnic tables. It has a unique playground with a natural log climbing structure that even teenagers were climbing on. The treehouse was cool. Beware it’s a 20 person limit but most people miss the sign and we found ourselves getting off quickly when people kept crowding on. The troll is cool and bigger than we expected. There’s a creek with stepping stones that my daughter enjoyed a lot. Parking was very limited, probably worse because of it being solar eclipse weekend. I’d definitely recommend this unique park for all ages

What a beautiful, fun park! Good for families, dogs, walking, trail walking or just hanging out.
Parking is limited, but there is street parking as well as some public pay-and-parks near by. There is a basketball court, an innovative kids/adult play area, a walking path and several smaller trails, access points to the creek, the cool tree house and the brand new troll (art installation). The tree house is a cool place to hang out or read. Malin, the troll, is super cute, made majorly of recycled materials, and definitely worth a visit.
The picnic table area was reserved for a private event when we entered the park.
There are restrooms just a small way into the park, near the treehouse.

There is a serene park with an amazing troll statue that is perfect for a day out with kids. The playground is suitable for kids to have fun, and there are good walking and biking trails available. The park has several spots for a picnic or to relax on the grass. Although finding a parking spot may be a little difficult, it's not too bad. A taco truck was available today, but we didn't get to try it.

This well established Park is still very current with the wonderful statues, play areas, water falls and the new Troll named Malin. Be sure to leave some water in his bowl for the wildlife. The restroom was very clean. The park is very dog and family friendly.

A lovely park with beautiful trails, play area for kids and even a big sphere with rope structure that you can relax and watch the sky! We enjoyed are time being here. There is also a creek and sand volleyball courts on the other side of it.

I’ve seen this park change a lot over the years but I really love what they’ve done with the new troll and outdoor play area. My skidding dog and I have a nice time walking around considering all dogs must be leashed.

It's one of the best parks in town, IMO! We went to see Mailin, the new Troll addition, which is very neat! We walked the stretch from 15th to 24th and back it was blissful! Lots of room and trees to share. I went to college here, and they used to have disc golf, but the cages have now been removed. It's a wonderful stretch of park that is pretty central but doesn't feel overcrowded, though admittedly, we went on a Monday this round. There's a playground on one end and a fun metal 'treehouse' with a rope floor that kids AND adults can enjoy. Restrooms to use and a little Marachi food cart are there as well. Highly recommend a day of peace at Pease! 💗

Really fun and great park. This park was worn out and falling apart... and they completely rejuvenating this place in every way. The troll is awesome (stop to see the small one on the street light). The sphere with hammock is fun. Great place to picnic or play

April 2024

I finally had a chance to visit Pease Park after the complete renovation a few years ago. I decided to come during the week to avoid crowds and find parking at the very few available spots. I was wrong there was many people here with a wide range of folks. I did get a parking spot but can park at the parking garage at House Park, but will be a short walk and have to somehow cross busy Lamar.

The park was well organized and very nicely designed. There was restrooms and a food truck selling tacos and snow cones. There was a bit of everything to do from a large green lawn, playground, basketball court, trails, and a creek. The highlights that make this place truly special was the Treehouse Observatory Pod and Malin the Troll.

It is a special place and a must visit.

Awesome park with lots of kid-friendly spaces...the recent addition of, "The Troll" seemed quite popular when I was there...lots of runners, walkers, a few bikers, extensive trail system, some cool reservable spaces...be sure to check out the parking situation...lovely place!

Finally we can enjoy Dambo Troll 🧌 by the Danish artist Thomas Dambo in Austin area, Thomas has installed more than 100 trolls worldwide. And this is the first one in Texas. Beautiful park with nature trails, cool playgrounds, picnic areas, and clean bathrooms. On the busy weekends day it’s challenging to find parking but it’s worth it.

Incredibly serene, beautiful and fun park near the heart of downtown ATX!! Playground, swings, basketball court, huge lawn, picnic tables and benches, splash pad for the kids, and recent addition Malin, the giant wood troll. Hard to believe this sits so close to downtown. A couple of food trucks were present on the Thursday I visited. Clean restrooms, grateful to the Cotera family for the beautiful playground.

Great place to walk around I've always enjoyed Pease Park. Its a gem in the outskirts of downtown. There are rows of cement picnic tables. The new attraction to the park is a giant troll made out of reclaimed / recycled wood .

A nice park with lots of trails and activities for the kids! There is a small parking lot and some parking on the street near the entrance. The splash pad is small but well-shaded. The playground has enough to do for small and big kids. Bathrooms and the water fountain were nice and clean. The basketball court was really nice but no shade. The walking trails are well-maintained, and you will likely encounter cyclists and electric scooters. Lots of birds all over. They have a shaved ice truck. Lots of interesting structures and fitness stops. Excellent picnic areas as well. Really nice spot that I hope to revisit with the family when it isn't over 100.

Austin's first public park, Pease Park, is a true gem that lives up to its reputation. From its scenic trails to its quirky charm, including the giant troll statues, it's an experience not to be missed. I'm excited to share its wonders in a future video showcasing the top things to do in Austin!
