Great big pool. Lap pool on one side. Plenty of shade. It's spring water so it's very cold! Staff and lifeguards are very friendly. We'll be back!

The bad: Run like it's 1985, decent but not great. The good: maybe the best lap pool in America, beautiful spring water, sunset view, absolutely epic overall, super glad to have it!

Such a fun find, excited to have been able to hit the pool. In evening in spring it was not to bad to get in a lane. I can see how this place can get slammed

The Concession Stand is open for the Fall/Winter months and we are serving up some yummy food and refreshing drinks. Hope to see ya'll soon!! 😀

This pool is deep in the heart of Austin and is a beautiful location, certainly something to check from your bucket list whether being local or visiting. You have a lap pool and a children's shallower pool, it also a well fed pool so no chlorine or any other chemicals are used and water is changed every day. It an Austin classic, you can visit and read about the pool history at a mural on site. Ice cones and convenient food is served at the entrance where there are tables to sit and eat. The rest of the pool does not allow any food or beverages except water. Enjoy the shade of great pecan trees and oaks, opens daily. There are restrooms and changing rooms on site.

I've lived here for 11 years, and went to the pool today for the first time and I absolutely loved it!!! The pool is huge and there is plenty of space to relax on the lawn. I will definitely be back regularly!

This is my happy place and it has been since I was a child. There is no better feeling than being at Deep Eddy in the hot Texas summer and spending the day swimming in the cold spring water and then warming up in the grass by the pool. Movie nights are my favorite and I’ll probably keep going even when my kids are grown as long as they still have them. I really hope it opens back up soon. I’ll be first in line to get in! I LOVE YOU DEEP EDDY!!

Great park. Easy access. Leads to city trails. Parking is good in cooler months.

Great outdoor pool! Looking to stay cool while in Austin? Go visit this wonderful space. The price is right and the water is so clear and cold. You are allowed to bring food, however, you will need to eat it in designated areas, you are only allowed to take water out into the grass area where people lay out. There is a small snack shop located on the property, which does offer regular/veggie hotdogs, chips,Empanadas, Drinks, and Ice cream. Parking is at a premium, you may have to find parking down the street.

Love this pool! It's HUGE! Fresh, chemical free, cool water fills lots of needs from toddlers to teen as well as serious lappers and those here for some fun family time.

Spring fed and is always nice and cold even in the hot days of Texas summers. Has a nice shallow area that drops into a deep end. I prefer Deep Eddy over Barton Springs but both are very nice.

One of the best places to enjoy cooling off in the summer. Clean, comfortable, reasonable price ($5 for locals - just hope that price doesn’t increase!), and beautiful.

Not as cool as it was in the winter in the pre covid times. People kept it weird down there for sure. But still a great place to sit, enjoy the people watching, and get some sun. The river, Mopac, swimmers, very serene

Love Deep Eddy. Its always refreshing and the vibe is very chill. The deep end is not usually too crowded. In the shallow end is beach front entry, which is good for little kids to splash. The whole pool is ginormous, so lots of room for everyone.
