One of the cutest bookstores I've ever been to. A huge selection but the staff recommendations felt so personalized and creative. Would definitely recommend checking it out, I was only in town briefly and made it a point to visit at the recommendation of two friends who lived in the area for years and adore it.

This is such a cool bookstore! It reminds me of a condensed version of a Books A Million, but definitely a lot busier too! I enjoy the double level interior and the bookshelf’s that span from floor to ceiling. Would definitely come again in the future. It’s pretty close to a lot of brunch places and shops. I particularly enjoyed reading the staffs reviews that are posted on certain books around the shop. It gives a better summary than the ones located on the backs of the books.

The bathroom is clean, and they also have a cafe inside! There’s also a sales section of books closer to the front of the store as well as in small spots on the second floor

We love a good bookstore and we did not feel like leaving this place, it's so good! It has the charm and welcoming feel of a small bookstore but enough space and books for a big one.
The children's section is amazing, very good selection of books and a huge area for story time. We will definitely be back hopefully during one of the events.

I am so excited to have discovered this book store today. We decided to visit it as we love local book shops. I think I am in love with this book shop. It’s so huge and has a great selection of books. I love the vibe and everything about it. If you haven’t yet visited book place please do visit them. I love supporting local stores and I think this will be our family favorite and a frequent stop. They also have a quaint little coffee shop and also lots of seating where you can be immersed in a book. I just love this place and can’t contain my excitement.

An Austin classic. Great kids section. They used to have an amazing magazine selection, but the pandemic killed that off for a while. Hopefully it can come back in all its glory. Terrific spot for author talks. Wonderful place as well to pick up Austin themed gifts for friends and family.

What an amazing bookstore! Wandering through was like being in book heaven. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Highly recommended and can’t wait to go back and browse more.

Must see if you're a reader. Right inside the front door they have a table full of books signed by the authors. They also have amazing recommendations on a lot of their books. One of my favorite books I read last year was Bliss Montage by Ling Ma, and they had a great recommendation for another book to read if you enjoyed that one. I bought it immediately 😆

Our favorite book store in the Austin area. Always friendly service and they've got something for everyone in the family. I didn't get to try their Cafe but it looked like they had a range of things to eat along with the coffee. They have a range of products that would make good gifts for others or yourself. I especially love how diverse their books are too.

As a book lover, this shop is amazing! I love the presentation and there's always something new to find here. They also have a "book blind date" section where you can peruse some descriptions of books wrapped up so that you can't tell what it is. So fun! Prices are pretty good and the staff is super helpful.

This is a great bookstore and the largest independent bookstore in Texas!

I visited a few weeks ago for an author's talk and book signing: The staff was pleasant and the event was well organized! I also visited again earlier this morning and the staff at the information desk in the back were very helpful! Additionally, the blonde person working the coffee bar was very kind :) I will definitely return!

A bookstore for every type of reader! As soon as I walked in, I saw the "Blind date with a book" table and that's exactly where I made my selection from. I didn't explore the whole store but I could definitely spend all day here. They have a cafe here as well. Makes me wish I lived in Austin.

This is one of my favorite bookstores. They have a massive, well curated selection of books. The children's section is the best I've ever seen. Highly recommend!

Lovely bookstore! A bit far away from us to frequently visit, but a great downtown bookstore. Two levels (third level was cordoned off) and a cafe on the lower level. Wonderful selection of books and knickknacks.

Locally owned book store with great selection, ability to order a book too if they don't have one in stock. Great children's selection including bilingual books. Some seating areas. Regular presentations by local and Texan authors.

Incredible space and a coffee shop inside also. Organized by genre and we appreciated all of the notes employees have for some of the books after they ready them. More fun and unique compared to the typical book store. Independently owned, this suits Austin without being ~too weird.

What a cool place to shop for books! I love that it’s independently owned and they have just as good a selection as the larger big box stores. All books were pretty new or trending and I also saw some older indie books! There is a little cafe so you can pause for a little coffee break! They have plenty of parking.

Austin throwback and so glad they’re still around. They’ve got an incredible amount of every kind of book you’re looking for. They’ve got a great little cafe in there and it’s very relaxing and peaceful but not to the point of being a quiet library. I highly suggest you drop by and check it out
