I felt so comfortable and safe at Kathy’s house. All of the staff members were so helpful and so respectable. I’m looking forward to sending in donations and volunteering my time. kathy’s house is truly a home away from home.

After traveling for 12 hours we were exhausted when we arrived. They welcomed us with open arms and even provided us with a hot meal. I felt like we were at grandma's. Very clean and one of the best places I have ever stayed.

This is an amazing facility for patients and patient families that are receiving care at Froedtert Hospitals.

Kathy's House is more like a home away from home for those struggling with health issues. It is located with easy access to Froedtert Hospital and the Medical College of Wisconsin. My wife and I spent several weeks there while I was receiving treatment for Pancreatic Cancer. Everyone at Kathy's House and Froedtert Hospital were both very professional and caring towards their patients. I have absolutely no complaints about our stay there. They were an answer to many prayers about my diagnoses, care, and recovery.

What a wonderful place during such a difficult time in our lives. While I was in the hospital for surgery and recuperation, my sister and mother had a place that felt welcoming, safe, and joyous. There were absolutely no worries for my family, so they could focus on what was most important to them at the time. This place thought of everything, and I mean everything! Kathy's House is so much more than a place to stay, it is home!

We just spent ten days here while our daughter underwent testing to see if she qualifies for a heart transplant. Super people, super clean, and so helpful. We met others in the same sort of leaky boat, and were encouraged by them. A great place to stay!

This is a wonderful facility. We loved that we could walk to appointments at the Cancer Center. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The kitchen area was spotless and easy to use. We were so thankful to cook and eat our own meals. The staff was very kind and helpful.

I have been involved with Kathy's House since 2017. The facility is gorgeous, and the staff are some of the most caring and dedicated professionals I have ever met. For folks traveling to Milwaukee for vital medical care...there is no better place to stay. Truly a home away from home!

Kathy’s house and staff provided us with not only a relaxing place to relax during our almost 2 months stay. They went out of their way to provide a very nice recliner for my husband who could not sleep in a bed..they also had a part in transporting us to the local airport for the honor of Wish of a Lifetime that he was given to meet and observe the flight for life helicopter and their team…
They true like to make all feel like a family, even with as many times as we had to leave or cancel our room because of COVID…thanks.. I know we will be honored to use them again, if we needed to.

Kathy's House is amazing! It is a wonderful home to recuperate following treatment. I had to stay near Froedert with a caregiver following my treatment. Kathy's House is a Godsend! It's a convenient location, right across from Froedert. The awesome maintenance staff keep the building immaculate & guests chip in to clean up after themselves. Everyone is so friendly! It was nice to be able to share similar treatment with others. But if you prefer not to discuss your medical needs, you don't have to either. The common kitchen area is spacious and functional. The beds are very comfortable. It is convenient to have access to a laundry room also. Thank you to Kathy's House for sharing this home away from home.

Very clean facility, close community of people focused on getting better and providing care for their loved ones. Faculty is very helpful with questions regarding the facility and the area around the house. Facility offers many amenities in a safe, affordable environment sitting long term stays by the hospital

I stayed at Kathys for and extended period of time recently. I couldn't have been more humbled by the kindness the showed my family during our time of need. Micky was my main contact during our time and she was a God send for us 😥. I can never repay the generosity we was shown but I will definitely try through donations.

Highly recommend. Very clean and comfortable and you feel very safe there. The people are great! And so convenient to the hospitals.

I didn't stay there but my mother did. My cousin was in the hospital in Milwaukee and she had been sleeping in the family center in a chair when someone at the hospital told her about this place. She said everyone was especially nice and everything was clean and sanitized as to not spread germs that come from the hospital. Its places like the Kathy House that ease your mind when you have a sick love one.

This place is definitely a God send! They went so far and above to help me during my time of need when my son was in the hospital. I'll never forget how kind and loving the staff is there. I met many other people staying there as well and they too were very nice. All together if I could give a higher rating I definitely would!

My Mom and I are so grateful to be staying at Kathy's House. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I love having access to huge kitchen. Not to mention the abundance of food and cooked meals. There is great comradery and support here which I love because then you don't feel as if your going through this tough time alone. I am so thankful that there is a facility such as Kathy's House. I drive 2 1/2 hours from Minneapolis, MN to pick up my Mom then drive another 5 hour's to Milwaukee. Kathy's House is our home away from home.

We just can't describe enough how much we appreciated having Kathy's House available to us during our son's long stay at Froedert. It was more than comfortable, convenient & hospitable. .. It became our home at a very difficult time in our lives... One of us was always with our son but for the other one, it was a comforting place to rest with others going through difficult times... It's been several years since we were there & thanks be to God, our son is doing well.. Thank you Kathy's House for the care & facilities you provided to us & to many others... About 3 weeks ago now, my daughter and I traveled from Jacksonville Florida to Milwaukee for her to have a chiari decompression surgery. It was a stressful and scary time but the wonderful people at Kathy's house made it so much better. My daughter had made reservations a long time in advance but with all the stress of having a surgery, had forgotten they told her to call and confirm. When we got there they only had a room for 2 of the 11 that we needed. We trusted God and the wonderful ladies at Kathy's house made a way for us. We had a room the whole time and I was able to bring my daughter to a safe warm caring place when she got out of the hospital. They go above and beyond. The day of her surgery I had come back to the house and she had asked me to find her a smoothie. When I asked if they knew of a place near the hospital where she was they flew into action, calling, printing mapquest, they really care! God bless you for sharing the love of God in this way.

This place is awesome to stay at if you need to be here for treatment and you live out of town. The rooms are nice and they have an awesome kitchen. It's a wonderful place whether you need to be here for a couple days or a couple months. I hope this helps.
