Roy’s is the best! A huge shoutout to Jimmy for helping me put a temporary fix in place for my vehicle so I could drive safely without risking more damage. He was kind, knowledgeable, and got me on my way in good time. Truly an awesome store with even better employees! Couldn’t recommend Roy’s more.

Great place to stop for almost anything. Live bait for ice fishing not to mention the amount of tackle they carry. Good pizza and breakfast food bar. Also a good service department, i bought my snowblower there.

They have pizza by the slice or whole. I got slices, and they were yummy, seeing how they came from a little unassuming store. There was a nice variety. A little bit of everything, with the whole back half basically dedicated to fishing supplies. Zach was the cashier on duty and super friendly!!! Will definitely be back soon!!

Anything you need, they got it. All the cashiers are kind and polite. The restrooms are clean. They have hot lunch available and it's always good homemade foods. When I just need a few things, Roy's is a great stop because they also have gas. I like the jokes they post on the sign on the corner!

Nicest hardware service desk, friendly and knowledgeable! They even insisted on treating my little one to a piece of pizza after they rung us up. I would recommend this business 100x over. Thank you so much

The best store / gas station / buffet in town. Go no further; stop by Roy's. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Also, the bathrooms are excellent...both have a Bidet attachment on each toilet! No other public bathrooms have this type of luxury in Traverse City! Come on in!

Get your breakfast pizza here, folks! I live 40 minutes away, but you bet your bottom when I'm in town during breakfast time I stop at Roy's for breakfast pizza. So yummy. Also they have other breakfast items, like sausage links (which are also tasty), and I believe I saw sausage gravy, scrambled eggs and perhaps hash browns. The people behind the counter are always friendly.

Staff is always very friendly and most know you by name after a while. The have a decent hot bar and pizza is usually always ready to go there. They also have an excellent outdoors section with all sorts of lawn equipment and tools to choose from. They also offer warranty on all lawn equipment you buy, I personally have bought a weed whacker, snow blower, leaf blower, and next year I will be buying a riding lawn mower from them. Also, if you have old equipment they do offer repair on small engines and even mower blade sharpening. Worth a stop!

I love that you can get anything from fishing licenses, live bait, household goods, candy bars, gas and hot food.

The staff is always friendly and the prices are great.

This is a little hidden gem and makes stopping at the store on the way home a lot less stressful.

Good people service and a fair price. Went to get new blades for my Husqvarna rider. Significantly less money for the same blades over lark in Cadillac or traverse city. Go in Roy's alot and the people are always very friendly and helpful.

I go to Roy's when I need ethanol free gas. they also have regular gas, diesel, and kerosene as well. Good ma and pa kind of place with a little bit of everything for sale (bait, food, hardware). Always enjoy their funny sayings on their signs too. Kid's always look forward each week to seeing what they say.

I absolutely love this place in general, but today Chris went above and beyond to help me. If you have any issues with your lawn/snow removal machines definitely check out their service department. I seriously can’t quantify for you how thankful I am for the work they do.

Have liked Roy's for the past 30 years which kinda makes me a newby. Sopped by today and my car wouldn't start. Two complete strangers stood out in the FREEZING cold with me and got it started. I had nothing to offer but a cup of coffee which they declined. That's the kind (underlined) of people that shop at Roy's. Maybe u goons that complain should try doing something nice for a change. Some of the pricing is a little steep but it beats a full shopping trip. They have bait. How cool is that?

"If we don't have it you probably don't need it" is what one of the employees told me the first time I stopped in. So far it's been true. Staff are always friendly, and I've almost always found exactly what I needed.

It's not a "five star" operation meaning there's nothing fancy about it, but I give it 5 stars because it's everything a gas station general store should be.

Fast, friendly and always have what I need. Roy's has just about anything you could ask for and fair prices. House, auto, garden, hot food and a few oddities including fishing or hunting items.
