We really enjoyed this place. My 26 year old son, 10 year old daughter and 3 year old son all had a blast. There are plenty of shaded areas to sit lots of space. They allow you to bring in coolers too! They do have a concession stand as well! Very reasonably priced. The cossesions only accept cash. The admission was $10 and they accept cards.

I come every year on the 4th of July. We always come super early and are first in line but on that specific day if u come at open the line is to the parking lot. If u come after noon-1pm then by that time the second lot is full and ppl start parking on the street/grass. You are allowed to bring in food and drinks but no alcohol. We also bring our own grill. If ur by the bushes bring mosquito spray 🦟 we also bring our own cooler. 🧊 the hard part is also rushing in to get a table and to get it under shade lol

Like an old school blast from the past! Nothing feel quite like summer loving then this beach with it’s fresh water with a few fun slides and play area right on the beach. There’s some shade spots, so you can totally pack a picnic but come early, a great way to spend the day. Very reasonably priced but grab a Groupon when you can. A favorite of ours they have a discount night price one day a week or two. It’s very chill here which we love. Great family “Day-cation” for Chicagoland area folks. A picture perfect picnic in the nw burbs.

This was a fun beach and water park. All the kids had a blast and enjoyed the diving areas and obstacle course. Not much for a concessions stand, so pack a lunch in your cooler bag. We even found a Groupon which helped to make the day more affordable.

I've been going here since I was 12. The place has hardly changed. Still has murky water, but it is a retired rock quarry. Deepest at the high five is about 19'. Reasonable entry fee and great food court prices. It's always a blast whether for a few hours or all day. I spent many summers practically living here. Staff is very attentive and fun, they interact more than just for safety, you know they enjoy working there and want to have fun while enjoying watching families play. Great family place, or place to hang out with friends. They close the weekend before Batavia fall classes begin.I wish they would do more to keep the water cleaner. You definitely need to shower right after, but they keep the grounds clean. They are right off the bike trail. They have a lot of parking, but it is a very busy and popular place so it packs up quickly, and can create quite a walk both up and down hill.

Had such a great time with my boys! Water is really cold, but felt good when it was 100° outside!

Really nice little beach close to home. Fun place to take the kids to swim and have a picnic and on Wednesdays the price is discounted for non residents to $7 vs. $11

Such a perfect way to spend a summer day. The lifeguards are top notch, so you can feel safe with your kids swimming at all ages. The beaches are kept clean, the parking lot has been beautifully updated. My suggestion, get a season pass!

Pass holders get in 30 minutes early, so you can snag a beach chair or a shady spot under a tree or umbrella. My kids like the sandy area, I enjoy the concrete. There is space to make everyone happy.

Thanks Batavia Park District for this great place in downtown Batavia.

Nice family friendly pool/beach. No long slides, just a few diving piers and one short drop slide. Still a cute place to relax in the sand and BBQ like you were at an actual beach.

I had a great experience. I came in from Texas, with my 3 year old daughter, to visit my mom. She took us here and visiting for the first time I felt it was a great place for some fun in the sun. Other than the water activities and water slide, there are also grilling areas available with multiple grills, picnic tables and a volleyball area. Kind staff and the beach is well maintained. Lots of parking available and plenty of shade throughout the property. My daughter had a blast. $11 a person and under 3 are free. Group of 10 people or more is $6 a person.

Great outdoor fun for the family in a really unique environment. There was plenty to do and the water felt clean and safe. It's nice that there's showers, changing rooms and even a place to grab snacks. Parking was plentiful as well.

I highly recommend coming here with the family for some summertime fun!

This is the coolest thing we found to do this summer. I didn't even know swimming in a quarry was a thing until I found this place. The staff and lifeguards are super friendly and the water wasn't super warm but it was a good temperature and nice to swim in. A bit crowded if you get there later but I really liked how we could bring our own beach toys and etc.

Such a great and unique place to swim! This retired quarry was turned into an awesome swimming spot with activities for all ages. My favorite part was the high jump platform! The also have plenty of picnic benches and nice big volley ball pits.

Great music, pretty clean beach (the only messes I saw were because beach goers cant clean up after themselves properly). My kids had a blast. The only un-nerving part is that I think the diving platforms are understaffed and should have at least one guard on the high diving platform. Would definitely come back!

My kids love digging in the sand and building castles. The slides and other activities are great too. We look forward to a great summer at the quarry!

I've been to almost all of Harold Hall's resorts, and this one is by far the best.

Nice sandy beach and diving areas for older kids. Concession stands had reasonable prices for soda/ice cream. BBQ/picnic areas also available.
