One of the best Thai restaurants in CT. Now only was the food delicious, but the service and atmosphere is excellent. If you love ginger ale, you MUST try their flavored ginger ale… all of them.

A variety of Boba flavors and other drinks are available. We tried the Brown Sugar Bangkok milk tea, Vietnamese iced coffee, Ovaltine Volcano Milk and a chocolate smoothie and they were all delicious. The food was amazing as well. We tried the Bangkok fried rice, padthai, crab bags, gyozas and chicken got mad. All wonderful. Service was great. Will definitely be returning.

I'm so mad that I'm only just now discovering this place!

Went here today and the food was delicious. My SO got the Steak Salad which was loaded with steak, but the winning dish was the Crab Fried Rice.

It's been so long since I've had this dish and it's rarely made correctly, but this place nailed it, and yes, they use real crab meat. And the flavor was on point.

It was so good that both my SO and I each bought an order of it to go , as well.

Can't wait to taste some of their other dishes and their portion sizes when dining in is ample.

The 2 young ladies that serviced us today were very friendly and helpful and made our dining experience even more pleasant.

Additionally, the atmosphere here is great and clean. I'll be back again SOON!

Great Thai and Japanese food here my meal was fantastic! I had Lad Na this time and it was delicious!
They also have a lot of bubble tea choices and many different tea choices in general as well as many other drink options.

There is a bit of a wait as it’s a smaller restaurant but it’s worth it! The food is very fresh, tastes good, and evidently is prepared by people who care. There is boba and some interesting drinks options but we didn’t try so I am unsure. Though I’m confident many people were saying how much they enjoyed them. We will be coming back, glad we found a place to eat Somewhere in Bangkok.

Excellent!! Heard great things about this place, so I went for boba a few times, but everyone said the food was a must have. I decided I had to give it a try and definitely was impressed. Great service and the food didn't take too long to come out either. We enjoyed everything we had and definitely plan on coming back to try more! (lettuce wraps, edamame, pad Thai, and clear rice noodle stir fry with pork... forgot the exact name of the dish but everything was delightful)

it's so cute. The menu is huge so there is a lot to choose even the drinks menu "no alcohol " but they are BYOB. I had wonton soup delicious and flavored and pineapple fried rice and no its not sweet. lol
I appreciate the ambiance of the restaurant even the restroom was nice. I was very happy with the explanation from the waitress if we didn't understand what an item was. recommend it for Thai food

This is my favorite Thai restaurant. The food is delicious and the service is great. We ordered Bangkok rice with chicken, two servings of pad see ew (one with chicken and the other with tofu), spring rolls, and sweet chili wings, all of which were exceptionally tasty. I recommend making a reservation beforehand, as the restaurant is usually busy. Also, please note that the parking lot is quite small, so be mindful of that. Overall, the food is excellent.

First time here. The menu is huge which I love but it makes it hard to choose. The apps we had were delicious, the soup was so flavorful, and I didn't know what to expect from my entree, but it exceeded my expectations! Portions were large too! I was beyond pleased. Only negative was the cleanliness. The place looked like it might need a little maintenance. I would 100% come here to eat again.

First time trying Thai food, and was told this place is the best Thai restaurant around. After trying this place, I can see why people love it so much! Clean atmosphere and nice interior designs with many different food options and bubble teas! Loved the popular shrimp! My boyfriend really loves their spicy curry too.

Great BYOB with a peaceful and soothing ambiance! We were visiting family and stopped in the night before Thanksgiving. The waitresses were excellent. Had the Summer roll appetizer with Beef Pad Thai noodles as my entree with a Sam Adam’s Octoberfest! The total bill for 4 of us was less than $80. Left a generous tip. Will be back!

My 1st time at a Thai food restaurant and not the last. The service at this location is excellent and the food was extraordinary. We had the gyoza and crispy asparagus for an appetizer, the chicken with queen st noodles (recommend) perfect amount of spicy. The crab fried rice (a must have) 2 pad See EW one with tofu and one with chicken and a Poh Tak (sea food soup) excellent taste.

This place is always fantastic! The food is delicious and the ingredients are fresh. And we had many vegan options which is something that a lot of places do not have! Highly recommend the golden bags! I see reviews on here complaining about the portion size, and I can tell you that that has never been my experience. I either need to take some home, or have to be rolled to the car. Highly recommend and you will not find a better Thai restaurant!

The papaya salad had a great spice level enough to excite my tongue but not burn it off. For the main course I tried the spicy Sea Bass which had a wonderful crisp crust and flavorful sauce the fresh broccoli was a nice touch. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

So bright, colorful, and delicious. I got the honey shrimp (in the front), coconut soup (to the left) with rice and a Thai iced tea. Everything tasted fresh and filling. The service was so kind too. They also have a series of desserts and snacks available at the front of the restaurant.

11/15/23
Let me start by saying I’ve not been a fan of Asian cuisine, but my experience at Somewhere In Bangkok made me a convert…..at least to Thai cuisine.
I had lunch with old friends Dave & Pat N who convinced me to step out of the somewhat boring dining box I live in and try Thai food. I’m sure glad they did!
I looked over the menu and noted that some dishes were marked with a little flame symbol denoting spice levels from 0-3.
I’m not a big fan of spicy foods so I panned those. They will however, prepare any dish to the spice level you’re comfortable with.
I started with a bowl of Thai rice soup that was essentially chicken rice soup. It was a very good chicken soup with a mild, not at all salty, but very flavorful broth.
My main course was crab fried rice, that I asked to have a few shrimp added to.
Not to understate it, but this was absolutely delicious.
No skimping on either crabmeat or shrimp, and like the soup, not at all salty.
The portions are very generous, and I had almost half to take home.
I asked for the dessert menu and a cake caught my eye. It’s called Pan Dan cake.
It was, to put it mildly, HEAVENLY.
Very light like a chiffon cake, with a mild citrus flavor and topped with whipped cream.
Service was spot on.
I will most certainly put this delightful restaurant in my rotation.

I love this place. The thai iced tea, bangkok egg rolls, crispy wonton pad thai, mango curry, and ginger ice cream are to die for. Not to mention the boba tea- so good!! Parking can be a little tricky, though. The lot is shared with a car dealership so there aren’t a lot of spots available- try to carpool if you have multiple people coming.

This place is so good!!! My family got take out here when I was in town for Thanksgiving and I can’t stop thinking about it. Can’t wait to go back once I’m back in town. Highly recommend this place. Everything was fresh, well seasoned, delicious, and I love the way they cut their veggies.
