Great steaks, delicious appetizers and friendly service and atmosphere! Came on a cold, snowy and blustery night to celebrate our 47th anniversary and we're very glad we did! Definitely worth the drive from Champaign or anywhere else.

A very great family run restaurant. Started off with the frog leg appetizers, which tasted like chicken! Not something I've seen offered in a lot of places. The main course was the prime rib and my partner got the filet mignion. It was super tender and one of the best steaks I've ever had!

2nd time here and everything was perfect!! Tonight I had the pork chop and hubby had the surf n turf kabob. My pork chop was cooked perfectly!! The mac n cheese is the bomb! Our first visit we had ribeye steaks which were also cooked perfectly. We got the loaded baked potato and it legit came with real slices of bacon on it and not some fake bacon bits. The add on of shrimp are huge!!! The shrimp has a nice light breading on them. Combo appetizer was also a hit.

We try to go as much as we can because we always have a good experience! Great food and great service! I asked for something that wasn’t on the menu and he said absolutely I can make that for you! Can’t wait to go back!

A rainy evening offered the opportunity to take a little jaunt west with good fiends to try Longbranch Steakhouse! Great food, great service and wonderful atmosphere!! Three of us enjoyed the delicious Filets and one said his ribeye was cooked to perfection. Great choice of sides and a wonderful appetizer-sampler made the longer distance well worth the drive. Our waiter was attentive and very knowledgeable when questioned about the different choice offered. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic, had a 17oz medium rare ribeye and it was fantastic. Had a side of Mac and Cheese and French Fries and it didn't disappoint. Great service, great food!

Went with my husband after a day of sitting at a baseball tournament in the heat, and happened to stumble upon this gem! The atmosphere was intimate, seated right away, the servers are so nice and never flustered even with a full restaurant. Our food was absolutely amazing and perfect amount, nothing to waste! The cook came to sit and speak to us personally after dinner, asked how our food was and thanked us for our business, super nice guy! Hard working people and loved everything about it. Will definitely be back

Our party of 4 went on a Friday night and experienced the best ribeye steak I have had in a long time! Service was great and timed just fine- appetizers were delicious- salad came after that and after salads were done our entrees came- we didn’t need to rush through any of the meal ! Atmosphere was great and made us feel at home- very clean!Waitress was excellent- we will be back!!

Honest to god this place is an absolute hidden gem!!!! I loved them atmosphere, and how lovely the staff was!!! I’ve had steaks from many of places considering I’m from California and ended up in the Midwest. Hands down the best steak I have ever had in my life!!! We will be back! ❤

What a great experience tonight and the food was excellent! Filet mignon was melt in your mouth tender and full of flavor. My husband had the prime rib, medium rare, and it was delicious as well. Definitely worth the trip and price.

Had a great birthday dinner with my family!! Server was very sweet and attentive and our steaks were cooked perfectly and so tasty. Our young girls loved the curly Mac n cheese and enjoyed sampling our sides too. Can’t wait to come back!

I frequent this establishment regularly. The food speaks for itself; I usually order a steak (medium-rare) with the brussel sprouts if they're available. The cocktail selection is welcoming after a long day.

The owner is also the chef, and you'll see him from your seat working hard in the semi-visible kitchen to prepare your meal. The owner takes pride in his business, which is evident not only in the quality of food he serves, but also in the fact that he visits with his patrons at their tables when he is able and seeks honest feedback.

I'm very thankful that our local community has in its midst a gem like the Longbranch Steakhouse.

We often have groups of 15 to 30 people to feed when Shirley's Custom Lights goes to a community parade. It can be difficult to accommodate such groups quickly. BUT, Wow! Great! We arrived with a party of about 17 Our tables were ready. They were already busy with regular clientele and our waitress was awesome. She had drinks quick and orders were placed soon. Very impressed with the food served. It was awesome. Wonderful menu choices. The owner and staff was very gracious and appreciative. I highly recommend checking them out when you are in Gifford.

The best food….everything perfectly cooked and seasoned.

And the service is top notch. I was late coming from the horse show - literally 5 minutes before closing and called and Don, the owner, said no problem come on over and he’d turn the grill back on.

Walked in to a warm welcome and a fantastic meal.

Can’t say enough good things about this restaurant.
