Columbus County Park Sledding Hill

Beautiful afternoon hike @ Columbus Park.🚶‍♀

Very pleasantly surprised. Well kept and low key park. I tracked our walk at around 3.5 miles. Cool little "off the trail" paths throughout. My son ran up and down the sledding hill too ( we will be using that come winter).

Beautiful natural areas with lots of native plants growing. Astonishing amount of invasive barberry colonies.
Peaceful and serene walking thru fields, woods and along a river.
Restrooms and picnic areas available.

Columbus County Park is a beautiful park with l out it's of trails some of which are for walking, biking or horseback riding. There are many picnic tables and grills as well as a public restroom. The park is very well maintained and has a sledding run and fire pit warming area for winter time activities.

I am here at least a couple times a month to get away from the city, it’s so beautiful and so much room for kids and dogs to run their energy out while mom gets to kick back and fish and have picture sessions with nature❤

What a great place, fast hill! There is also a smaller hill for the little folks. The night we went there was a nice warm fire going also there are stairs between the two hills for easy climbing. Yes it's well lit up at night.

Very nice hill very wide for the big one so that multiple people can go down at once their is a smaller hill to the right that's half the size for smaller kids.

Great park. Sledding hill is nice and there is a smaller hill for younger kids too. Very muddy today on the trails but still beautiful and enjoyable.

Awesome trails and a sledding hill! Great place for hiking, Frisbee golf and horseback riding.

Had a nice fire going on Saturday afternoon too! What a great park for people to enjoy the Winter Wonderland we call home.

A great park for sledding, hiking and enjoying nature. A great restroom/warm up area is on site. Kids love it here!

I Love this park. That being said, Irresponsible dog owners make enjoyment an issue. Accosted by a German Shepherd, again, prompted me to call the police. That not withstanding, I highly recommend this slice of nature.

Second family gathering at this park. Nice amenities and tons of nature. I don't ride but I think it's great that there are horse trails and separate horse vehicle parking.

We walked our dogs here and we loved it. Super clean, quiet park. It has two awesome sled hills (they look awesome, it's still summer) complete with a fire pit for cold parents. Horse trails and trailer parking, mountain bike trails according to the website. Definitely coming back often

A Wonderful park all year round! The sled hill is a blast in the winter! The playground area is great for young kids! Trails for hiking or bike riding! Definitely one of my kids favorite parks to go to!

Awesome place for thrills and chills. The sledding hills were a blast for our whole family. They have 2 hills, one big on and a smaller one if you don't feel comfortable going down the big one. It's defiantly a hidden gem with beautiful surroundings. Very relaxing and peaceful park.
