Jones Lake Park

It's a getaway from m the city in the middle of the city deer,birds,fish,it's all there

The City of Lansing has (and continues to) attempt to maintain and add value to this little slice of reprieve in North Lansing. The parks department has added a couple grills over the years, numerous trash receptacles, and this year there’s a new dock! The grills have either been stolen or mangled, the trash receptacles either disappear or are filled with the neighborhood’s household trash, and the entire park is littered daily with broken bottle glass. I commend the city for their efforts and urge residents to return to caring about the health of Lansing’s green spaces - natural areas are very important in the midst of so much concrete! (Fingers crossed that I’ll be able to up my review to 5 stars some day soon). 🙂

Trash and broken glass. I can't even take my dog there for fear of cut up paws. The city has really dropped the ball when it comes to its city parks. The city should hire more people to keep up maintenance on our city parks...oh yeah, they could try and fix a pothole or two in kansing once in a while. Hahaha

Ppl keep braking glass bottles there and so ypu don't want to drive back there. Very sad to see. It could be a beautiful place to visit..

Never bring kids here or pets horrible fishing spot it's just snags
