Beer on Central

Went here as a mid stop on a brewery tour. This place is exceptional. All the beer is available to drink in-store and the staff member Jordan was very knowledgeable and friendly. If you are in the area this place is a must stop!

Beer on Central is my favorite Chicagoland spot to buy beer. Their selection is extensive and they're constantly getting new beers on the shelves and on draft. That's right, you can drink beer while you shop and they always have a great selection on tap. The guys that work there are so cool, friendly and knowledgeable. They host free tastings on Friday nights that showcase some really great local breweries and they have other random events, like bottle shares, too. If you haven't stopped in I highly recommend it - but be warned - you'll be hooked!

Super great selection of Chicagoland Craft Beers, and about 5 taps as well! Great place to stop in a have a quick beet, while choosing something to bring home. The bartender Jordy, was extremely helpful!

Beer on Central offers a great selection of Midwest beer and one of the best tap selections on the North Shore!

In addition to package beers they have a great singles case to try before committing to a 4/6 pack.

They also have a small selection of spirits, wine, mead, and N/A beers.

So many options to choose from! It may be a small shop but the variety and options make it feel bigger. You can find any type of beer for any type of palette. There are also Boom Box pretzels available to purchase which are a great snack to go with any choice of beverage.

One of the best bottle shops on the north shore, with a focus on the local Chicago area beer scene. Never have a problem getting the latest HB or P3 releases. Always treated with respect (it's a two way street after all) by the owner and his staff.

Great craft beer selection. They also have a rewards program that allows you to earn points and receive notifications for upcoming events. There are a few beers on tap, and you can drink one of their bottled/canned beers for a two dollar "cork" fee. With the limited bar options in this neighborhood, it would be nice if they stayed open later than 8pm.

Wonderfully curated bottle shop with a solid draft rotation. On top of the relaxing decor, my favorite thing might be the option to buy many of the beers as singles, just in case you don't want to risk buying a 4 pack.

Great local beer selection, interesting drafts / drama, and a small but thoughtful liquor cabinet. Great place to hang out!

I've been coming here for 4 years now they have all of my favorites alcohol/booze. The employers are great, friendly, helpful, and they always greet you with warm hearts.

Super friendly store with a several taps to try out. They also lets you mix and match beers. Great place to go shop locally.

Good selection, prices are reasonable. We stopped in after the northwestern game waiting for the metra. The staff was nice. It was crowded, which was understandable because everyone was drinking away the pain of blowing a 17 point lead against Michigan.

Hyper local beer, mostly in cans. If it’s fresh, there’s a damn good chance Brian (the owner) has it. Buy it, take it home, or crack it open right there. Not to mention 5-6 beers on tap of some of the most innovative and rare brews around.

Great variety, including beer on tap and from the case to drink in store. Also have ciders, Mead, and some liquor. Lots of events as well. Highly recommend stopping by!
