Great people working excellent pizza going back to try their pasta

We were out with friends on their boat and they recommended Rosie's. Boy, we were not disappointed. The staff was great, and the food was even better. Great pizza. Good appetizer's. We felt very welcome there. There were even 2 singers there with tunes from Sinatra, Martin, & Armstrong to name a few. We will surely go back. Not sure where some of the negative reviews came from.

I have tried just about everything on their menu and it was fantastic! They make you feel at home with their service and the prices are very reasonable. They have a deck outside on the lake and plenty of docks so you can boat there too. They also have a nice bar if you just want to relax and have some adult beverages. I found some of the negative reviews comical. It is NOT fine dining. A couple of people were rating it as if they were at a posh dining spot in the heart of Chicago.

This is a great place with awesome food! My family and I took a trip up to Fox Lake area and ate her almost every weekend this season. The service has always been 5 Stars, and the people who run the restaurant are very personable and accommodating (we have small children). If you’re on the lake looking for great Italian food, this is the place for you! I recommend their lasagna!

A hidden gem that has the most authentic Italian cuisine that surpasses anything I've had in the past 20 years from lake Geneva to Chicago. The owner is classy, attentive and will make certain every aspect of your experience goes above and beyond your expectations. By the time you pay and leave you feel like you're family sent home with a full meal and a new favorite spot!

Fantastic authentic Italian cuisine, great bar selection, great ambiance! The wait staff is quick to serve. Nice outdoor eating space in good weather. You'll think you flew to Italy when you taste the food! If you're lucky you will meet the owners that treat you like family. A chain o lakes must.

We have gone for pizza by boat several times and this is by far the BEST pizza we have had!! Went last night and we chatted with the owner & asked her about her story with owning the bar. So nice to hear how taking a risk pays off, hard work is key & friendly service is what sells!!!! What great customer service, food & atmosphere!! Will surely be going back often!!

Food is delicious! True Italian food! The owner, Maria is a delight. Paul our server probably the best I've ever had (efficient and friendly). Not to mention she has Peroni beer. 5 stars +

The most enchanting restaurant in the Fox Lake area, the food is genuine Italian and the owners are committed to providing an excellent dining experience. The mood is casual but the service is professional. It is a hidden jewel in an otherwise lack luster choice of dining experiences in the area. You will not be able to resist returning and often. I can recommend Rosie's without reservation

My favorite place to eat the best Italian. The food reminds me of hearty home cooked Italian like my Grandma used to make and the owners Lou and Maria treat everybody like family. Always so much I need a to go container. My wife and I travel over 45 mins to eat here as often as possible. Well worth the trip every time. Thanks Rosie's!

For a Sunday, it was busy AND cordial.

For being the only waitress, Kaylee, was fantastic! She didn't have to make excuses because she was 100% dialed in to make everyone's night enjoyable. As it got busy, the bartender came from behind the bar to help, while the owner shifted behind the bar. .... What fantastic teamwork!

ALL the food was fantastic and so was the entertainment. 50's & 60's music.

We definatly will come by boat, plenty of parking for cars or boat. OH, by the way, bring your appetite!! There is surprisingly HUGE portions.

This is as close to the Northern Wisconsin Supper Club as you can get.

Amazing food and staff. The staff here was on top of things if we needed anything. The food was great. Defiantly will make this one of our regular places to eat at!!

Great little Italian eatery on the chain o lakes. Unfortunately they may be closing for good soon. Go see Maria and Rosie for some good eats and some great conversation. Before they are gone.

Great food and drinks! Geonna was an awesome hostess and gave great recap. The sausage and peppers almost made me comatose from how good it was 😂😂 will gladly come again!

Having to find a good pizza place in our area is very hard to come by (being married to a wife from Cicero) I have to say COME HERE FOR 1/2 PIZZA THURSDAYS! Great décor, great 50's style rat pack music in the background (nice music to relax after a long week), food is soooo good! We will be making this our Thursday destination for sure. Love the crust (very close or even better than Salerno's in Berwyn).. For the troll's out there who say they are people from the area let me tell you that this place is better than the other places out there. Also, the staff is so nice there (you feel like you are at home). My only request is if they can have some couches in another room (with a tv in it) so we can lay down (like myself) and take a nap after eating (that is how good the food is here). I would try the other entrees one day but for now I will enjoy my pizza.!

Everything I've had here was excellent aside from the calamari which was under -seasoned in my opinion. However, aside from that everything here is fantastic, the service is friendly and excellent, and the prices are wonderful. I'm eating their leftovers right now om nom nom

Rosies has amazing authentic italian food. Everyone makes you feel like you are coming home instead of going out to eat. A must for Italian food and a warm, home style environment. Also very easy to get you by boat with an amazing outdoor seating area. 5 stars for sure.

i have never stopped on the boat because of the channel. Oh i discovered what i was missing. Small nice place with great service. I mean great service. Our waitress was awesome.

Looking up places to eat outside and enjoy the nice weather .. came across Rosie's so decided to give it a try ... quite impressed .. calamari was fresh and tasty .. bruschetta with fresh mozzarella and balsamic very good .... so much food come hungry ... what really made my night was our server Gianna an awesome young lady , she was a blast .. have no idea what the review about no masks was about everyone here is totally conscious of the laws and wore masks .. I will definitely be back thank you guys
