Supermercado Chapala

Good Mexican supermarket, they have good arrachera and chorizo in the meat section. The tub of salsa in the fridge are great too. There is a taqueria in the back, tacos are affordable and pretty great. The carnitas, lengua and asada are great.

I’ve always knew about them but this is the first time I had the time to go and check them out
Definitely recommend them and will be back to try there tortas and burritos

Best authentic Mexican food in town hands down!!

Even though it’s a supermarket the restaurant inside has great food. Really recommend their grilled chicken. Very unique in taste and the sauce they give along with it is a great complement.

Super reasonable prices compared to other places and some of the best tacos I’ve had since moving from California. There’s a nice dining area too. The tripas were fried up to be suuper crispy and everything tasted great.

Best cheap tacos in the area. Cheap not as non-flavorful or non-satisfying. But these folks make really tasty affordable tacos while you can still shop for groceries after having dinner. Awesome spot for a low key date too,

Some of the best tacos I have had in the north side. Their tacos de lengua, cecina, and carnitas are amazing. The torta de milanesa is superb.

Awesome local Latino grocery store. They recently opened a small restaurant inside as well with some great food. Before being vegetarian I used to love the carnitas you can get by the pound. Decent produce selection. Awesome fresh made guacamole and salsas. I especially like when the elote man is selling out in front of the store.

They have all you need for your authentic Mexican food.

I've been shopping here since for ever. They have a restaurant in the back that has amazing tacos! Steak tacos are the best.
They have parking as well. Latino grocery store with veggies and a meat section.

Super frendly groceries store. You don't find fancy tuna, but delicious tacos, tortas and other specialty dishes in the small food court all the way in the back. Very busy on weekends.

Best tacos i've had. I havent found a better place to eat tacos! They give you cebollitas and chiles toreados seasoned! The Service is awesome! So friendly and its a place i can take my kids to eat because they love good tacos.

This location has been open for a very long time and I'm pretty much a regular here. They have one of the best taco's in Roger's park.

I beat all these reviews. I know the owner and his sons. Been knowing these guys since i was 9 years old. And am good friends with some of the butchers and cashiers. Best chicken and tacos and grocery store on clark st. Two thumbs up if i was ebert and roeper. Lol.
