Morse Fresh Market

Carry great items. Great produce!! They make their own non-dairy shredded cheddar cheese which is less than half the price of name brands that are not as delicious and don't melt. The Morse Brand cheese MELTS and is delicious!!!

I'm so lucky to have Morse Market as my local grocery store! The produce is always fresh and often has sales. They carry a surprising variety of brands considering how small they are. I regularly stop by at the end of the night to look for deals on the prepared food as well (rotisserie chicken, ribs, mozz sticks, jalapeno poppers, and other regular items). I'm short and can't always reach the top shelf, and it's always easy to find someone to help. The staff is super friendly, and you always get greeted at the door. Love Morse market!

I lived near this market for 3 years back in the day and it brought me such great happiness that I still think of the manager and his employees and the smiles that they brought to my life. And they taught me about new foods like Tunas (prickly pear) - the fruit of the cactus that are delicious! I am so happy that this market is still in Rogers Park.

Love this place. They have everything I need and they don't kill you on prices. People working there are friendly and kind. Especially at the deli. My only criticism is it gets a little tight in there with all the stockers and shoppers. Overall dig it.

I love this store! They have great fresh produce and a variety of ethnic food, herbs and spices. They also carry rotisserie chicken and baked goods, fresh salads, sushi, deli meats, etc. The staff is helpful.

The perfect place to stop and pick up things for dinner. They have the best produce for great prices, and I love to shop the sales. Most prices aren't competitive with a bigger chain store, but that's to be expected. And every single person working here is so friendly and helpful. I hope they all get paid amazingly.

More bang for your buck and its local for Roger's Park east residents.

Everybody from the store owner, to the cashiers are the nicest and friendliest people. I always feel like I'm welcomed there, during the pandemic when coins ran out the owner allowed me to trade currency, they are extremely helpful and they have stellar customer service. A great little market for the neighborhood that is really for the people.

Update! I still love this store and it's my #1 go too.

What a lovely little grocery store. Wish they had better opening hours. The employees are friendly and so helpful. Lovely selection of items from Europe, Asia, Middle East, and Latin and South America.

This is my go to place in the neighborhood. Super friendly staff, great genuine customer service variety of selections on everything you need. Well maintained store, clean and fresh products, the ladies on the dairy section are really nice and knowledgeable about their products. The meat section is my favorite since I’m on a carnivore diet, the people behind the counter Chris, Salvador, Justin and the rest of the crew are just awesome and super helpful.

Everyone was very nice, this was our go to grocery store the week we were in chicago as it was right around corner from our hotel room. They had everything we needed and some. Thank you Morse market and employees for being so kind to us.

My favorite store in Chicago. Wide variety of excellent fruits and vegetables. Much better and cheaper than Whole Foods. Lots of staff and they are always friendly and helpful. This store serves a diverse population so the shelves are full of good basic foods as well as choices from many ethnic cuisines.

Okay this is going to be a biased review but I wanted to say I had a super super rough day (bc of a man) and THE MOST GORGEOUS cashier I have ever seen just smiled at me and said "welcome" when I walked through the door with my brother and it honestly just gave me the serotonin boost I needed after work. Thank you beautiful tall guy w blonde dreds whoever you are. Thank you Morse mart for hiring him. Everyone's always going thru something and sometimes a smile and "hello" go a long way for a person who needs it.

On certain items like sale fruit, and some dried goods and feta cheese, they have the best prices in the city. There’s not a ton of organic veggies.

One of the best grocery stores I’ve been to in the city. The produce selections is amazing so fresh. The meats, deli meats, cheese and house made items, especially the salsa - fantastic. I truly can’t rave enough about this store. All of the employees are incredibly helpful and nice. I visit a couple times a week for the past three years and have yet to be disappointed by price or quality.
