I've lived in Benton Park for over 10 years and just now discovered that we have a hardware store 1.5 miles away! Yet another reason to never have to leave "the island". The store is clean, well organized, well stocked, and the staff was helpful in finding the specific tool that I needed. The prices seemed very fair, at least what I saw. This store can expect to replace Home Depot as my go-to hardware store.

In a nutshell...Bob Villa I am NOT! There's been times I've walked in the door having no clue whatsoever what I needed. I explain my problem & a sales clerk leads me to the correct isle. "Here's what you need." I've also found various metric size nuts, bolts, etc. to fix a BICYCLE. That's how I get around. Why mess with those 'Big Box Hardware Stores'? Sales associates who haven't got a clue. Sigh... Shop small. Shop local. These guys are great!

Wide selection and the employees are always friendly and quick to help with any questions - only wish they had more hours on Saturday/Sunday.

Great customer service. Minute I walked in, someone asked me if I needed help. I told them I needed an Allen wrench for my garbage disposal and he walked with me through the store to show me different options.

This place is a Soulard neighborhood gem. We recently did some home renovations and stopping at this store was clutch. They are super helpful, so definitely support them

Always have someone to tell my problem to and they say “follow me” and grab exactly what I need of the shelf for me. In and out in minutes unlike big box stores where you have to chase someone down and half the time they have no idea what they are talking about. Best hardware store I’ve ever been to.

These people are the most helpful group of individuals I know. I've even noticed a lot of their stuff is cheaper than Lowes/Home Depot. I've walked in with plenty of oddball questions and they have answered every one. They also remember who you are and ask how your project is coming along. Family owned and operated too so please go spend your money there. Love this place.

Local hardware store great staff very helpful

They are extremely helpful they will help you all around the store find anything you need with covid-19 all you have to do is tell him what you're looking for and they will go get it for you I did get the wrong part I took it back the next day I got the correct part no questions asked immediately they were so extremely helpful and knowledgeable I like to if possible always shop local first and these guys are a great alternative to the giant chain stores give them a shot their prices seem to be very very similar to home depots

Man those guys are always helpful I never stood for longer then Two minutes before they asked you if I need any help! They have it all love that place decent prices too!

I had an expensive floor lamp that was not turning off and on properly. We took it over to the lighting store where we purchased it and they charged us $25 and it worked OK for a while, then again started faltering. I took it to Edele and Mertz and they fixed it in a day. They wouldn't take any money. But I appreciate the service so much, they are the only hardware store I would go to.
