Last night, I came here with my friend for a tea tasting class. This is such a cool place! There were tables set with black linens, a pad of paper, a pen, a few tasting cups, and a fancy teacup and saucer. The owner of the shop, Missy, filled each teacup with a really yummy tea called For Her. It was very light and floral. As we sipped the tea, she went over the history of tea and the different types of tea. As she talked about each specific tea, her teammate Lauren went around and poured a sample of the tea in our tasting cups. Missy would talk about the health benefits of each tea and what notes we should be smelling/tasting. She also told us some fun stories of her conference and experiencing the whole tea making process. After the class, we could explore the tea leaves on the shelves and buy them. I got a peach oolong (which was one of the teas we tasted) and Happy Days (another fruity tea). The shop also has spices and balsamic vinegar to buy.

Missy and Lauren did such an amazing job and I really enjoyed the class! Hope to be back soon!

I love this place. Whether you'd like to sit and enjoy some tea, or buy oils and vinegars, spices, tea, or essential oils, there is no better spot I know of. You can smell, taste, or sample just about everything; and there is a lot to check out. On top of that, Missy, the owner, is amazing and keeps sets the place apart from any other. If you're in the area, coming here is a must.

This was a great experience. We got two iced teas to enjoy on the patio. The store has great and easy to follow directions that tell how to brew each different tea as well as some spices, olive oil options, and balsamic vinegars.
Staff was really friendly and very knowledgeable about their products and surrounding area. Definitely great for an afternoon pick me up

This place is really a treasure. Stopped in here during the covid pandemic and it was quiet and I was the only one. The staff was very respectful and wore a mask.

I appreciate the attention to detail they have and the number of spices, olive oils, vinegars and teas really make this a candy shop of sorts. I also appreciated the handmade candles.

If you're looking to support small business and locally sources items this place is a good place to go. The items here are unique and local so it makes for good unique gifts to get people. I'll be using this as my go to place for gifts from now on.

What a marvelous tea shop! Fantastic variety of flavors and blends, such friendly staff, and a truly lovely overall "vibe" in the shop. I wish I lived closer, I would take such advantage of their "tin refill" discount and be in here getting new teas every week!

Visited this wonderful shop for my birthday and it did not disappoint. We got to browse the vast variety of teas, tasted the olive oils and purchased seasonings for home. The hospitality the owner has for her shop is very warm and she made sure we were comfortable once we sat with our teas by the window. She also has games by the table, we played connect four for a while. Lol definitely my new spot to get quality tea and get work done. Loved the decor, and the vibe. Look forward to returning!

I just visited the Tea Tree Shop for the first time yesterday and was SO impressed! Everything from the cozy and intimate decor and their attention to detail, the selection of teas, the additional offerings of spices, oils/vinegar, essential oils, and soaps to the attentive and friendly customer service - was absolutely amazing. I am going to become a regular of this adorable place and will use their delicious offerings in my home as much as possible! Do yourself a favor and give this awesome spot a try.

This store has an amazing selection of loose tea. Black tea, green tea, herbals - you name it! And I've never had one that wasn't delicious. Of course they also have a wide variety of teapots, tea mugs, diffusers and all things tea. They also sell excellent olive oils and various spices that I have never been disappointed with. Essential oils, local made bar soap and candles, essential oil diffusers and much more!

I absolutely love The Tea Tree! They have an amazing selection of olive oils, delicious flavored balsamic vinegars, spices and teas of all varieties at prices better than local grocery stores! I have been extremely pleased with everything item I've purchased. They also have essential oils, diffusers, candles, soaps and cute accessories. It's a great place to meet up with friends for a cute of tea, attend one of the awesome classes or pick up a quick gift for someone! The store owner, Missi and her family and staff are so welcoming, informative and extremely friendly. What a great addition to Batavia!

We’re in regularly for tea (we love the Feel Better Blend, especially during the winter months) as well as spices (nothing compares to the fresh cinnamon or the Chicago Joe mix, which husband puts on everything). Such a special local spot for quality. Fun spot to take visitors too!

I love this place, I have purchased loose tea, aromatherapy products, flavored vinegar and oil and natural bug repellent. Everything is very good quality and this shop is adorable. You can stop in while visiting the Batavia Farmers Market on Saturday mornings June through October.

Great staff! I love coming here to talk about essential oils!
Tea tree has a very nice selection of teas, essential oils, defusers, spices, basalmic vinegars, and olive oils. I enjoy using everything I have bought @ Tea Tree!
The basalmic vinegars and olive oils I have used on salads and in cooking.

I have visited this shop several times now and always enjoy conversation with the warm and friendly owner, Melissa Hartmann. I first started visiting during the Batavia Farmers Market on River Street and bought a few loose leaf tea samples. Prices are moderate and the tea is displayed in large glass containers with airtight lids. You can buy a small sample bag, a 3oz or a 5oz can. I graduated from the sample bags to the larger cans after I was hooked on my favorite Jasmine Blueberry (a blend of green tea, jasmine flowers, blueberries and natural flavors). Another favorite is Coconut Cacao Pu-erh. (Pu-erh tea, cocoa nibs, coconut pieces and natural flavors) . They have a cozy area in the shop with lots of natural light where you can enjoy a cup of tea with a friend. Every time I'm there I see people enjoying this spot :)

I recently sampled and then bought one of their gourmet balsamic vinegars. The blackberry balsamic is just the right mix of sweet and sour and I add it to all my salads. Try it on fresh unsweetened goat yogurt to create an interesting dip for veggies/fruit. Also tried some of their lovely spices.

Lots of unique gift ideas here; handmade candles, scent diffusers, essential oils, pottery mugs. The shop setting is in a vintage building with natural limestone and brick walls conveying old-world charm. Check out their Facebook page for ongoing special events.

Glad this shop is in walking distance from my home!

Best small shop ever. I get all my loose leaf teas here but they have plenty more. Oils, essential oils, spices, soaps. They will go out of your way to help you in whatever capacity they can.
