Wonderful place to celebrate! Even with kids. Our wonderful server Siobhan was very attentive and a pleasure. The grilled meats and pineapple were even enjoyed by kids (7 and 4). Had a lot of selection even for dietary strict folks. We definitely enjoyed the dessert!

The floor was slippery, but not when we were walking in.

This is a place that the entire community appreciates. I commend small businesses like this for keeping their commitment to being a wonderful local option for Wilmette and the surrounding neighborhoods. However, I do wish that they had at least a few vegan entree options. If they did, people like me would visit more often to eat instead of just having to settle with a tea and fruit.

8 of us came in after a change of plans for just drinks and we were greeted by a friendly manager and our server was great. We had drinks and fries. We spent an hour chatting. The prices were reasonable. Limited selection for drinks but that’s not really what they are known for. We left at 9:00. I need to come back for breakfast bb

Good place for good food . You'll get exactly what you are looking for. It's like a family style restaurant.

Can help the pricing being in a snooty high-end ish neighborhood. Definitely good food though. It's important for my family to support small local business and this is the one you want to support.

Classic old school diner. Crispy bacon, crispy hash browns, bottomless good coffee, this place is beautiful

Came for weekend breakfast with our family. It was b busy but the wait was short and the time we were told was accurate. The breakfast food was great especially the Pancakes and crepes. Coffee was high quality unlike many other diners. Will definitely go back soon!

This is your basic, but very good store front restaurant. I go there mainly for a traditional breakfast hash browns, bacon, Eggs Benedict, etc.

We came back to Ridgeview after many years, having moved away years ago. We had previously been a big fan of this North Shore establishment for over 30 years in its earlier days before renovations to its current layout. Today the restaurant didn’t disappoint- friendly server, good coffee and iced tea refills, delicious fluffy omelettes and eggs Benedict. We were delighted to see some locals who have also been frequent diners which attests to the quality and consistency of the food and family who own and manage Ridgeview. The menu has variety from breakfast to dinner options at good prices for a North Shore location. The only missing piece was the smiling face of the patriarch owner John who is now gone. It’d been great to meet his family who now manage this Wilmette gem! Maybe on our next visit!

Had the meatloaf, good, tender, with fresh green beans and carrots. I would order again.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this place, I did not expect the food to be SOO GOOD! Salmon was cooked perfectly and all the ingredients were fresh. I will def be back again!

I have never had a bad experience at Ridgeview. The family owned restaurant has fantastic food and an excellent atmosphere.

I'll be honest that I have been going to Ridgeview since I was a baby, so I may be a bit biased. But the fact that I continue to visit should be proof of their quality and family atmosphere.

Owners are very nice and the food is very good. I would highly recommend trying the ranch with some fries because it is excellent.

The staff is very friendly and attentive. I really enjoy coming here for their burgers and fries. Whenever I have room for dessert, I usually order their chocolate cake. It’s delicious! I had a work-related party here too. They really know how to serve a party! I definitely recommend this restaurant. I have yet to try their breakfast food.
