William G. Stratton State Park

Nice little park with access to the I & M Canal. Really nice section of the canal as well. A few picnic tables with a nice view of the river. Good spot for a nice lunch. Little bit of tricky twist & turns to get there when you turn off the main road but once you figure it out you’ll remember for next time.

Good to run the boat up and down the river.
Was nice and quiet, water was running 12-14 ft deep on average at 58 degrees

This place is beautiful. I just recently had a party here and everyone loved it. The park is clean, you can fish and boat, and there is a campground nearby. I highly recommend visiting even if it's just for a walk.

Great place to launch our boat, plenty of parking spots, 4 lanes wide so the line moves very fast.

Right at the Illinois River and is just 3 blocks from my house. It's kept up very well and is a great place to have lunch - go to read - walk along the river and into wooded areas - and simply to gaze at the water and reflect on how fortunate we are to live in an area wiht such beauty. Highly recommend for nature lovers

Park is always clean. Bathroom are clean. Easy ramps to get boats and wave runners in and out of water

Undiscovered by todays rampant public ignorance. Great place to bring the little outdoors folks to fish.

Great place to launch your boat. They have 4-5 slips and plenty of parking. We took a overnight river run down to Peoria and had a blast. No issues with truck or trailer upon return. Parking and slip access is free.

I've visited this park a couple times when the weather was nice. It does get flooded, so be careful of the water. They will close it if it gets too wet! The view is great, you can see the boats in the water and my dog loves to sniff all the local wildlife here.

Amazingly beautiful and peaceful when there's no boats on the lake but even then it's still nice to just sit and relax listing to the water and nature

A lovely Trail to walk, no matter the weather!

Played a small picnic show with some great friends. It was the day of Cornfest. Beautiful place.
