Our many pets have been patients of this group for years. Together we have solved countless issues, welcomed new animals and developed excellent relationships. Every physician has been devoted to our concerns, and the techs and administrative staff are incredibly helpful. Truthfully, the team provides compassionate care for the humans as well! We have found it easy to make appointments, to order refills, to subscribe to prescription food, to reach a team member with our questions. Highly recommend.

I was impressed with this animal clinic.
The vet i saw, Amy - was wonderful. I have 2 new kittens.... and they really seemed to care, spent time looking them over and answering all my questions. Reasonable fees also.
I also liked they made me aware of a 24hr close-by animal emergency hospital... just in case I need it..... if they are closed after business hours.
I will continue to use this animal clinic.

I had my initial appt for my dog with Dr. Golden. My dog is almost 11 years old and has been with the same vet her whole life so changing was difficult. Dr. Golden was very warm, knowledgeable and welcomed my dog with open arms. The rest of the staff was also very welcoming. I feel confident this change will go well.

Really appreciated Dr Cook and staff at Animal Medical Clinic of St Charles! We drove our 7 year old Black Lab from IOWA expecting to have Arthroscopic surgery on his back knee. Of course our dog did not present any symptoms the day we went and seemed to be doing fine. Dr Cook said that ‘IF’ it was his dog, he would hold off on surgery and we really appreciated his honesty! You can tell that they put an animal’s needs first and foremost and THAT speaks volumes! If in the future our dog does need surgery, we will definitely be going to Animal Medical Clinic of St Charles!

Just wanted to add on that 4 years later, my dog still hasn’t needed surgery! Dr Cook suggested we have him lose weight, and after putting him on a diet, where I give him people food that includes REAL food and not over processed dog food, my dog lost 20 pounds in the 1st year and quit limping because of the excess weight!
I really appreciated Dr Cooks honesty of not doing a surgery too early if we could alleviate it by changing his diet instead! If I lived close to St Charles, I would most definitely be taking my dog back here!!!

Everyone at the Animal Medical Clinic of St. Charles, from the front desk to the vet techs to the veterinarians, are always so helpful, knowledgeable, and willing to help me and my dogs anyway that they can.

Amazing place, mastiff/boxer 116 lbs needed a "acl" repair. Dr. Cook took the time to explain everything. All the different repairs their pros and cons. We were able to make a completely informed decision. We felt very secure in our decision and with Dr. Cook. We are very appreciative of him and his outstanding support staff.

This clinic is the best you will ever find! From the greeting at the front door, medical techs, office personnel and of course the amazing doctors. Our little girl, a little 9yr old Shih-Tzu, loves to visit. How many people can say their pet gets excited when they are told they are going to the vet??? Don't look any further when you are searching for a great & trustworthy clinic.

I will always appreciate that this clinic saved my dog back then puppy back in 2019 , when I got my puppy she was sick and dying and came here for help and they went above and beyond to save my puppy and they did! I thank you great people for saving my dog Bailey!!!

This review is long overdue. My two dogs, Zazu and Sven, have been coming here for the past seven years since they were puppies.

Dr. Kroll is the primary vet they see, and she is one of the most amiable and compassionate vets you will ever meet. I feel very comfortable with my dog's health in her hands. There have been times when she had called on her days off to check in on Zazu or Sven when they were sick. Sven is not a fan of going to any vet office. Dr. Kroll and the techs will take as much time as needed to ensure Sven is as comfortable as possible for the entire visit.

If Dr. Kroll is unavailable, Dr. Rudigier is a fantastic vet who has also treated both Sven and Zazu. Even though she doesn't see them regularly, Dr. Kroll and her communicate so much that she knows everything about my dogs.

Each vet tech has shown so much love for Sven and Zazu every time they come in. I can tell how much they genuinely care for everyone's pets. Christy & Kristen, who are both certified vet techs, know and treat Zazu and Sven like they are their pups. Even if they are not the tech for the appointment, they will come in to say hi to Sven and Zazu.

Dr. Cook is excellent and performed the tightrope surgery on both of Sven's Cranial Cruciate Ligaments (CCL) about six years ago. Sven runs and plays just as much as he did before the surgeries. Last year, he did a great job on my mom's dog CCL.

Everyone at this vet office, from the front desk receptionists to all the doctors and vet techs, will make your pet's well-being their number one priority. Highly recommend this place to be your primary veterinarian office.

We have been going to the Animal Medical Clinic of St. Charles since the day that it opened. Dr. Cook treated our first dog Char-lee who had lupus with love, and compassion. He made her final days as comfortable as possible and helped us make the hard decision to let her go. Murphy our second dog had congestive heart disease. Dr. Amy treated her with so much kindness and again helped us make the hard decision to let her go. Dr. Amy continues treat our Ellie. Ellie was a rescue and came some poor health issues. We have continued to work on finding the right diet, and treatment for her with great success. I would never go anywhere else except to Animal Medical Clinic of St. Charles to treat our four legged family members.UPDATE:This Saturday 6/3/2023 we will be sending Ellireto the rainbow 🌈bridge Dr.Amy will be with us. Update: The hardest decision we had to make was so much easier with the help of the Dr. And the staff. ♥

We've been clients of Animal Medical Clinic for almost 9 years. We started by taking our older dog there, and we now also take our 2-year-old. All of the doctors and staff that I've worked with are kind and compassionate. My dogs, while a little nervous, never shy away from the staff and look forward to greeting them when they come in the room.

Our older dog has had a number of unfortunate circumstances, including a broken leg and bladder stones. They are always kind and gentle with her, and she's now a happy, healthy "senior" dog. :-D

I never hesitate to recommend Animal Medical to anyone.

My dog was in great pain for several days. They listened to my serious concerns and took her in quickly, which led to x-rays and the removal of obstructions in her stomach and intestines. The entire staff was compassionate and helpful from the start. The doctors were knowledgeable and thorough. We are so grateful that Penny was in such good hands in this emergency. I can’t say enough good things about AMC.

For the past 13 years, we have had 3 dogs cared for at this clinic, including multiple emergency type visits and one surgery with Dr. Cook. I’ve never had a bad experience w the office staff or any of the Veterinarians. We especially love Dr. Kroll! She is very caring and compassionate.
