Every single person I encountered with was very genuine, caring, and beyond kind! My pup recently got sick and I brought her here late one evening and they treated her right away. I followed up with her regular vet and due to my pups older age and her conditions it was best to put her down. I chose EVS in St. Charles over my pups regular vet to go through with the process because I knew they were the right people to handle such a sensitive procedure. It’s been a couple weeks now and I know I made the right decision after how amazing they treated us during the hardest day of my life. They comforted my pup and gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye. We even had the option to get an ink print of my pups nose and paws and a clay paw print as well. It’s extra charge but the items are priceless and I am so beyond happy with how they turned out. The whole staff deserves recognition for their wonderful care but I would like to personally thank Jennifer Tanner and Kristel Yocom for everything that they did for my fur baby ❤

Dr Marsia and her team are the best! I am always impressed with her and her team every time we go for a visit. Dr takes the time to explain and educate me on any issues that have come up with my dog. She has always been very attentive and caring towards our dog! Front desk is amazing too! Thank you

My mom and I had to rush our cat here during her last few hours. They were kind and compassionate to our situation, and spoke with us frankly about her current state. We appreciate their kindness during our difficult time.

This is the second time we had to put to rest one of our dogs with E.V.S. Dr. Greenwood was compassionate in ending our ill, with many health problems, beloved 13 yr, old Cocoa who was adopted. Our hearts are broken. We are grateful to have E.V.S. PLEASE ADOPT!

We have no words to describe our appreciation for Dr. Marisa and the whole team. She was the most thorough, empathetic, and diligent provider we have come across. Our baby, Emmett, was so sick and needed emergency surgery and I attribute his success and recovery to her. 10/10 would recommend her and her team to anyone who needs help for their fur baby.

I scheduled an appointment for my puppy dog for pre surgery physical and the surgery. It was easy. No worries, all my questions answered. Excellent environment and professional and nice staff.

We had to put down our 13+ year old cat here a few weeks ago. Staff was kind and professional. Later they sent us a condolence card with personal note and signatures from the staff. We have the card next to our memorial for Peepee (Zeke) would give 10 stars if I could, thank you.

I can't say enough good things about this place. They took us back very quickly and the staff was very caring and compassionate. The vet Dr. Marcia was the absolute best. She's so knowledgeable and took her time to explain everything to us. They saved my pet I can't thank them enough!

Wonderful care for our senior fur baby on an emergency basis tonight. Molly clarified the issues over the phone and agreed that urgent care seemed appropriate; Kim provided tech help when we arrived and kept our girl calm; Dr Greenwood did a thorough exam and consulted with us each step of the way. Each person gave helpful details and double-checked whether we had questions or lingering concerns.

So grateful to have these kind, capable, and compassionate professionals to help us tonight. Very affordable, too! Hugs to all three of you from Nikita and her family!

We found this place online at 9:45pm because our puppy was losing her balance and shifty eyes. They were great on the phone and we came into their office at 10:15pm.

Everyone there was very helpful and patient with all of our questions as first time dog owners.

We would highly recommend this place.

Obviously, no one ever wants to end up at the emergency vet with their fur baby. BUT if I ever had to choose an emergency vet to go to, it would be this one.
We brought in our little Iggy Mimi on Monday night for vomiting blood after a bad reaction to a vaccine and the staff and veterinarian were so amazing and compassionate. I called in before coming in and the staff took down my information about what was going on and were ready for us when we pulled up. They took my Mimi back asap and began working on her. The veterinarian came in and gave us the most detailed updates about course of treatment. We felt in the loop the entire time.
We cannot thank the team at EVS enough for taking care of our baby girl and provide such friendly and lovely customer service to us ❤

The staff at EVS were very sympathetic and took the time to allow us to process that we had to let our baby, Puffin, cross to the Rainbow 🌈 Bridge. This is never an easy decision, and was very consoling to us, knowing we were doing what is right. We thank all of the staff whom helped us through that process that night. This is Puffin in her younger years.

I called this place and got immediate advice on how to induce vomiting & that hydrogen peroxide expires (the first hp that i used was expired). Before this place, I called 4 other emergency vet clinics that told me "hydrogen peroxide doesn't work".

The person who answered the phone was honest and caring. I'm happy that I did not have to bring my dog in. However if I ever do, I know exactly where I will be going.

We are very thankful for Emergency Veterinary Services (EVS) for helping our Andy in the middle of the night. EVS truly saved his life and brought him out of excruciating pain. We highly recommend them. Their fees were reasonable and they were very understanding to our concerns and fears. The staff who helped us were Molly and Dr. Greenwood...we are grateful to them and want to personally thank each one of them for their understanding and care.

Words cannot express the kindness and compassion shown to us last night for our beloved cat. Dr Marcia W was kind, compassionate and wise. Used her clinical judgement to help with end of life care for our cat. The wait was long but worth it. If you need immediate care after hours your pet is in good hands here.

We had one of our guinea pigs get out and one of the huskies got to him, but all we saw was he had him in his mouth and tossed him high in the air. We called the local animal hospital in the area (Streamwood) and they referred us to this place as they don't deal with guinea pigs. We called and they said to come on in. It was about 730pm on a Friday night, so we rushed the hour drive out to here. Being Friday night, there wasn't much parking with all the people out but we got lucky and someone was leaving and we got a close spot. Upon entering they took piggy back immediately to have him checked out. The staff was very friendly and attentive, from the reception to the vet and the techs, all around very friendly and helpful and really showed care for the situation. I would definitely recommend this place.

We are eternally grateful for the exceptional care administered by Dr. Tanner and her team on the night we came in with our critically ill dog. Everyone worked efficiently and handled him with great care. Dr. Tanner communicated with us clearly and kindly about the gravity of the situation helping us make the agonizing decision to let him go. We were given all the time and space to say goodbye, and the team looked after us. He went peacefully and surrounded by love. EVS, thank you so much for doing what you do with excellence.

We took in one of our cats after her health quickly declined overnight. The staff was courteous and respectful through the entire process, the doctor laid out the options for us, and gave us time to grieve after she was gone.

To my surprise, we received a card today from the hospital, signed by all of the staff with their condolences at the loss of our cat, a stray we had taken in last year. To put it simply, it was an unexpected gesture that meant a lot to us, coming from a hospital we had never been to previously.

Taking a furry family member to an emergency hospital is not something I necessarily want to do again, but I will be back if the situation calls for it.

We took our Yorkie, Sammy to EVS due to pancreatitis and newly diagnosed diabetes. Our vet advised 24 hour care. We had no referral or advice on where to take him and luckily we found EVS. Upon arrival we were greeted with courtesy, compassion and professionalism. Dr. Murray advised us on her plan for treatment. The staff made us feel at ease in leaving him in their care, noting that he would receive extra kisses and 24 hour monitoring. We were told we could call throughout the night and the next day with updates. Sammy's blood levels stabilized and EVS coordinated release and continued care with our Vet. The cost was reasonable given the care he received. Can't say enough about their compassion and care. Sammy is doing much better! Your pet will be given excellent care and love here!!
