Bellaire Bar & Restaurant

We ordered the breakfast special and my eggs were cooked perfectly. The loaded hash browns were packed with meat. They were a bit busy but our server was very nice and everything came out correctly. Nice restaurant.

Not sure if it was just a one off experience, but tried to go on Tues, and they were closed even though Google lists them as open (and hours confirmed recently by company). No big deal, I'm new to the area and have many places to try out still.
Went back yesterday and we tried a couple of the best burgers we have ever had! They get their beef from a local farm, and you can taste the difference. Seasoned well, but not in a way that competes with the flavor of the meat. We had the western and olive burgers, both "house specialties" and both DELICIOUS. Tried both the fries and onion rings which were great, though I think I enjoyed the fries more. The only thing neither of us were fond of was the coleslaw which looked so good but had an off taste, but we figure that's an exception and not the norm. My partner had a draft beer and I had a cocktail, both great.
Service was exactly how I like it, informed and welcoming. Attentive, but not overwhelming. And of course friendly, as just about everyone I've met in this area is. Will definitely be coming back soon and frequently, there were too many good things on the menu to try in one visit!

This post is mostly about the Patton Farms Beef served at the Bellaire Bar. I rarely eat red meat, but this Patton Beef somehow tastes different- like the difference between a grocery store tomato and a tomato plucked from a garden. The cows run free - I know, the farm is just a little down the road from where I’m building my new house. If you find yourself in Bellaire, go to the Bellaire Bar and order a burger- don’t smother it in a bunch of sauces - beef this good stands on its own.

Amazing food and service. I ordered the black bean burger which was made from scratch. It was delicious. Everything was served hot and fresh and came our quickly. I appreciate that they had a vegetarian option!

Always enjoy this spot. Stopped in on a Thursday night just for drinks. Bar was at capacity, but the little alcove beside the bar was open. The gentleman, who may or may not be the owner, took my husband and i directly to the bar and fixed our drinks for outdoor seating. Was much appreciated. Have been here multiple times and He is always gracious.

Walked in at 845 pm we were served before the kitchen closed. Great staff and food!!

Went there for dinner with friends, awesome everything! I had the perch it was fantastic we also got some deep fried mushrooms, you could tell they were actually homemade not just something from Gordon's frozen. Awesome atmosphere, wasn't overly loud. Love the belt controlled ceiling fan! The service was great especially for how busy it was every table was full but my drink was always full within a minute or two and the food came out nice and quick, good hot and tasty. I will definitely be going back!

Still almost the same as it was when I was sitting next to my dad on a stool 35 plus years ago. Good food, good service.

I had a burger and sweet potato fries. Others in my party had tacos, BLT, soft pretzel bites, and other burgers. Everything was delicious. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and had great tips for us on things to do in the area.

Never disappoints. Great daily specials and their hamburgers are the best.

Very good. Great staff and our food was excellent. Hand made 1/2 lb burger was the bomb...so was the Ruben. Don't wait for an hour at Shorts brewery...walk over and get excellent food and ice cold beer. 5 stars.

Friendly staff and owners! Clean restaurant and restrooms! Food was outstanding! Fried cheese curds and ham and Swiss fried pickles to start. French dip and the best rueben I have ever had for entrees! We will definitely be back!

Great location. Excellent food. Super clean restaurant and restrooms, friendly staff even as they we’re getting slammed by Labor Day weekend crowd’s. Tables are generous size and the bar itself is extremely comfortable with nice seats at it. Parking is ample out front with lots of options.

They are correct when they say "the best burgers in Northern Michigan". Atmosphere was great, service was above and beyond.... da definite stop when up North visiting...

Visiting Bellaire by myself, checking out the vibe. Couldn't decide which restaurant to try. Went into a few. One too loud, one too big, one out of my budget... walked into Bellaire Bar, and, oh! Just right! Got the grilled three cheese with tomatoes. I thought I made the best grilled cheese there is. Bellaire Bar is better. Dang it.

Had brought dinner home last night from the place. One of the best burgers I've had in a while. Wife loved the club sandwich and the kid really enjoyed the nachos. Priced very reasonable and food was very good. Very little wait and the food was still hot when I got home.

Mandy was an excellent waitress. Tacos are delicious and my hubby and mom lived their perch dinner.
