Archer’s on the Pier

Had a magical lone lunch here at Archer's. Crab cakes were wonderful and trying the Blueberry-glazed salmon next. Got a small table right by the cozy stove looking over the water. Read a book on my iPad and enjoyed the relaxing view of boats passing and quaint buildings along the bay. Server was so nice too. I plan on making this a regular lone lunch spot to just chill and soak in the vibes and comforting local menu.

Our server KK was energetic, friendly, and attentive. The House Muscles and Almond Crusted Flounder Special were excellent and the Lazy Lobster was Top Notch. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

Absolutely the best lobster roll...
Creamy, buttery and SO00 good! So much lobster I could not hardly finish the sandwich. The Old Bay seasoned fries were super yummy!! Husband had the haddock tacos... he said they were absolutely delicious!! Great service, super fast and friendly.

Great views of the pier, plenty of food options, and good service! They do not take reservations, everything is first come first serve! The seafood is fresh and customers even have the option to select their lobster of choice from the tank on the deck! To my knowledge, there is only one handicap parking spot at this restaurant.

This is a great place to eat. Prices are reasonable, food quality is high end, portions are generous, views are rather nice and everything I saw coming out of the kitchen looked fabulous... It doesn't look like much from the photos but it was very enjoyable.
I rarely give good reviews so try this restaurant.

We sat outside in the covered area. You can't beat the view. The lobster roll was delicious. The bun was toasted perfectly. The french fries were perfectly seasoned. Our server was great. She took excellent care of us, refilling drinks and making sure we were OK. We had a great lunch.

First time eating here and the food was excellent. It’s the best coastal restaurant we have been to and we have eaten at a lot of them. We all had food to box and I am looking forward to having my leftovers tomorrow. We will go back for sure. Thank you for a lovely dining experience.

Stopped at Archer's for a drink and some apps. Wonderful experience! We had the pirates punch and a Paloma for drinks. Delish! We tried a seafood trio and oysters and everything was so good. Oysters were sweet and tender and FRESH! THANK YOU!

Our first time visiting the area and Archers came up on the top of the recommended restaurant list. Three words - King.Of.Clubs! This is a must when vacationing in Rockland. Great location on the water and the food is absolutely fantastic.

Fantastic location on Rockland Harbor out on a pier (180+ degree views) in a warm and cozy environment. Food is very good with a broad selection, and exceptional service. Just simply hard to beat the views and the experience. Recommended.

The food was really good. We had steamed clams and mussels, shrimp, whole lobsters, clam chowder and a fried shrimp sandwich and all of it was full of flavor and fresh. It was really busy for a Thursday night and we were prepared for a wait on our food but it only took about 20-25 minutes. So worth the wait.

Went here for our anniversary. The first table at which we were seated wasn't the best, so I explained to the host why we were there. They moved us out to the pier to the table most private and with the best views.
Our server was very helpful and friendly.
I enjoyed a 1.5 pound lobster with corn on the cob and butternut squash. The squash was so so, but everything else was delicious. My wife had the Maine Blueberry Glazed Atlantic Salmon and enjoyed it very much. We especially enjoyed the fresh rolls served before or meals came.
They topped us off with blueberry pie.
Side note: They'll have ample parking.

Fantastic Lunch.

We took a trip to Rockport, the menu and reviews enticed us to visit Archers. We were not disappointed.

We were greeted and sat promptly, and had drinks within minutes. Waitstaff was professional and friendly.

We ordered lobster dip to start, which was warm - crostinis were crisp, but not out of the oven fresh, which was understandable.

Lobster Rueben, haddock tacos and sandwich, Lobster melt (which was open face) and the Bobby Flay Lobster BLT. Everyone was more than content with their selections. The flavors were incredible, and the portions plenty.

The view was stellar.

If you find yourself in the vicinity, it’s a sure stop.

The food at Archer's on the Pier was amazing!!! I really enjoyed my order which was fish tacos and of course I tried my friends dishes that were mussels, lobster soup, and lazy lobster. Every dish was superb. We accompany our food with wine and beers while enjoying of the calming view of the Ocean.

I definitely recommend this place and I would come back at any time.

Nice place right on the pier. I had a deliciious lobster roll on Monday 10/17. They have about eight beers on tap and I had both Sam Adams Octoberfest and Baxter’s Real Ale. My wife had the shrimp Bloody Mary on Wednesday 10/19 and the BM was good but the three medium shrimp were nothing special. Our friend Jim had steamers and thought they were great, but I am not a big fan. The service was good and the staff was friendly and jovial. The bar has a very local neighborhood vibe.

So enjoyed our dinner, the atmosphere, the view and the staff! Super scenic location! Staff is hard working and made our experience more enjoyable. Our group of 9 enjoyed all our diners, from the fried haddock, lobster melt (my favorite ) and meaty burgers! Yummy shoestring onion rings! Great for harbor views and sunsets!

This was a beautiful spot, and the outdoor deck was lovely at sunset. The food came out quickly and accurately. One of our party had called and spoke to the owner about a reservation for 15 people, but the staff was not prepared. They were easily able to accommodate us with no wait.

We had the lobster club sandwich. It was delicious. This one has defeated Bobby Flay's rolls. There was a lot of meat. $51 each

We stayed in this area for two nights and thought of trying this place out for some good seafood. And we ended up going there for the second night as well !! Food was so delicious and reasonably priced.. staff was friendly it the place had a great vibe to it. Our server, Heather, was amazing and she recommended few of the best dishes we have ever had. Kudos to her ! Loved that oyster and the giant lobster. Thanks for the lovely meals 👍🦞
