Anchor Inn & Cottages Wells-Ogunquit

We had a fantastic experience. One of my friends was delayed in arriving and the staff was kind enough to let my other friend check in, although it was in my name. We stayed in the deluxe cottage and with 3 adults and 2 teenagers and it was perfect. The teens loved the pool and we loved having some adult time outside in the evening. The air-conditioning worked perfectly. If we could improve on anything, maybe add the option for daily towel service where soiled towels picked up and new dropped off. The water pressure was fantastic except between 6:30a and 7:15a, who knew so many vacationers would be showering at the same time so early?!?! Great place, highly recommend and will definitely stay again!

Great stay! We were there on a holiday weekend and staff was great! Clean rooms and the location is very good as well. Really quiet rooms. We had an infant below us and never knew. Highly recommend!

This resort is so underrated. It was beautiful. The staff was friendly. The rooms were clean. It is a great proximity to everything you could possibly want in Maine. We had a wonderful stay. Can't wait to go back. Dog friendly

My family and I went here this past summer and it was the second time we went. We absolutely love Anchor Inn. The first time we brought our chocolate lab and the second time our chocolate lab puppy came along too. They were so kind and accommodating and finding a hotel that will let you bring your furry babies is so hard to find. They even gave the dogs Anchor Inn bowls and dog biscuits. Both times we were there, the rooms were immaculate, well cared for, and the process of checking in and out is so convenient.The property is lovely, safe, and quiet- right near a ton of really special things, especially the beaches in York. I'm a single mom to a little boy I adopted out of foster care. Anchor Inn is not only his first hotel experience he ever had, but I also felt super safe taking him here. The little stress relief soaps they leave are wonderful and the water pressure in the shower is incredible. If only I knew where to get a showerhead like that because frankly, it spoiled me. And with microwaves and mini fridges, it means being able to bring food along with you and avoid having to pay to eat out all the time. The trip from South Jersey to spend time in what has become one of our favorite places in the world, has really been made possible because of Anchor Inn.We can't wait to go back- if you've never stayed there, it's worth it.

It far succeeded my expectations! Close to every beach, and seafood restaurants! Room is super clean. The front desk was very nice and helpful!

Not a 5 star establishment in conventional terms, but during our stay we were comfortable. Our cottage was clean indoor and outside, we got as many towels as we needed and all appliances worked just fine. Desk people were super nice as well. Can’t really ask for more.

The room was very clean and fresh. The property was well maintained and neat. Staff was friendly and welcoming. We definitely would come back!

From start to finish the staff we're fantastic and very helpful. The pet gift bag was totally unexpected but a great surprise. The rooms were very clean and everything was extremely clean including the grounds where we walked the dog. The location is only minutes from the beach and restaurants.

We were 4 adult women staying 3 nights. The office staff were so nice and easy to interact with. We were very pleased with the 2 bedroom suite - complete with fridge, stove, dishes, utensils.
Towels were bigger than most motels. It was a quiet environment and we will definitely stay here again when in Ogunquit.

Great place to stay asked for floor level and near the pool! Excellent service.. Our room was clean and easy to move around with 2 adults and 2 children. I would totally recommend this place to anyone.

This was a perfect place for our family to get away for the weekend with having a new puppy. They are very pet friendly and extremely nice and clean. Tv in living room could use small tv in each bedroom but other than that The pool is spacious with tables and or outside furniture to relax while the kids swim. Its only minutes from the beach and great food. Perfect location. We will certainly be back! Thank you

Everything was overall very nice. Due to the fact that we are near the beach, it would have been nice to have our room vacuumed at least every other day. But again, the place was clean and the property well manicured.

Check in and out was easy. Great location close to everything. The room was clean and comfortable. It was quiet. We will definitely stay again

I love the fact that there are gas grills and picnic tables in front of the cottages. The grounds are kept very nice and it was so quiet and peaceful. I highly recommend.

The staff was excellent. The rooms were immaculate and the price was fantastic for Wells. I’ve stayed at almost every hotel in town. You will not find a better room at a fantastic price. Everyone is genuinely happy and nice to the customers. Rooms are spa and cottages very cute. You won’t be disappointed.

Beautiful. Peaceful. The rooms have patios/ balconies which is so wonderful to just be able to sit and enjoy the outside. They were so kind and managed to put our 2 rooms next to eachother. There is no breakfast but they gave us vouchers for a restaurant (which we didn't use). There is a lovely out door pool which the kids loved. There are towels there so no need to bring from the room. The grounds are meticulously kept and there is plenty of parking conveniently located in close proximity to the rooms. The staff was wonderful, and patient and very very kind. They even tried to accommodate us to stay longer, we loved it so much, but they were fully booked and it didn't work out. We truly appreciated the effort and we will be back!

We had such a wonderful stay here! We brought our two oldest girls here for a weekend trip to celebrate the end of Kindergarten and 3rd grade and they loved it. Our cottage was clean and cozy (and air conditioned!), and it was nice and quiet at night. The staff were kind and helpful and made sure we had had a great time. We are definitely planning to come back next year!
