Atlantic Oceanfront Hotel

What a gem. We had the chance to visit after missing the chance to visit with friends earlier this year. When it comes to seeing the ocean this is about as good as it gets without being in it. Anyplace that can make my dear wife shut the TV off to take in the sight and sound of the surf is doing something right. Clean rooms. Not over fancy but very comfortable and well stocked. The people at the desk have always been very nice. Now,if we could just catch up with those friends sometime. I need to add, this property has done some upgrades to the balconies and rooms and it really turned out nice.

This is the place to stay in Wells. It is on the beach. With the porch doors open you can listen to the waves - we kept the porch doors open all night, loved it. The room was spacious, great mattress - our main bench mark for all hotels. The room was very clean, nicely decorated, had a microwave, fridge, coffee maker. The staff was wonderful. An all together great experience.

I have really enjoyed staying at the Atlantic for years. You cannot beat the location and the view from the ocean front rooms are unbeatable. Wish they had an elevator, however, since lugging luggage can be exhausting. In addition, they check in check out times need to change and keep up with the trends since you are expected to be out early. I will still go back, though, since they have the nicest staff.

We have been coming to the Atlantic Oceanfront Hotel for over 30 years. The room is always clean, comfortable & well appointed. Staff is friendly & efficient, room amenities (microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, plenty of bath towels, sample toiletries) are very convenient. View of the ocean from the balcony & the room is excellent. Access to the beach & walking on the beach is very good. Proximity to nearby restaurants, grocery store & retail stores is a plus. We are always sad to leave & look forward to returning every year.

We always love staying here! This time was even more special. My sister got married in Wells. All of the staff were so helpful at every turn. We had a great stay and very happy with everything.

We consider ourselves grateful to have found such a wonderful place to vacation each year. The owners Kevin and Deidre along with the amazing staff make us feel like we are at home. The renovations they have done since last year are awesome. The view, location and of course the pool year in and year out have been a great fit for our family. We can’t wait to go back each year. My sister and I have stayed in the same pool level room for the past 4 years. We love it. The updates stand out. Seems everything is brighter and new. Beach access is the icing on cake!!!

Fantastic location and very reasonably priced. It wasn't full, so the two sweet ladies at the front desk upgraded me to an oceanfront balcony room, which I greatly appreciated!
Parking is free, but it's tight!

We stayed here for a quick mother-daughter get away. It was perfect. Parking on premise and steps to your room. Our room was recently updated and was clean and tidy. But of course the best thing about the Atlantic Oceanfront Hotel is the LOCATION! Walk right outside your door to the beach and waves, or go the second floor pool if you prefer. Lovely spot and will definitely be back again. Thank you:)

Went on a mom and daughter trip here - great stay! They were very accommodating. Housekeeping was great - could get as little or as much cleaned as you wanted. walkable to a few takeout restaurants for lunch on the beach which was very nice but definitely could’ve brought stuff and put in our mini fridge in our room to use a well. Will definitely be back!

We love staying here. We get an ocean front room every year for the past 13 years. It’s a great location right on the beach. When you have little ones it’s convenient to be able to just walk up the stairs and be at your room. We always look forward to our stay!

I love staying here! Not only are the views breathtaking, the staff is so friendly and the rooms are always so clean. The beds are very comfortable.

A very middle of the line hotel, everything you'd want on vacation without over the top luxury, pushed to top tier by the ability to fall asleep to the sound of waves crashing.

A great variety of extremely clean rooms for families or couples. The outdoor second floor pool really sets this hotel apart from the others, along with friendly and helpful staff. The owners go over the top to see that you have a great experience during your stay. Highly recommend!

We were there during the off season but it was great because the beach was quiet. Location is fantastic - right on the beach. Will definitely be returning.

Superb location and a nice basic motel! Our room was basically brand new, exceptionally clean, and a comfortable size if traveling with kids (queen suite). I loved that you could open the screen windows and fall asleep listening to the ocean. The pool area was well-kept. Parking is available, though tight; but they are upfront about that prior to booking.

My family and I stayed here for Labor Day weekend. At first checkin the room was clean and updated and Loretta did a great job on the daily tidiness of our room and keeping items stocked up and clean towels. The ocean is literally in your backyard and Wells beach is a great family beach with plenty of room for everyone. Easily navigate the shops on foot from the hotel. Highly recommend.

Beautiful and clean rooms, room service was top notch! I love having the option to put the bin outside the room and within the hour it was full with whatever I needed.

Conveniently located on the beach which help when you have small kids and a lot to carry! In cooler days the pool and the seats were always clean.

Location was perfect!! Right on the beach!! The hotel was very accommodating. We arrived a little earlier. Stopped in to see if it was a possibility we could get in any sooner. Was expecting a no but they let us in. Hotel was very clean! Will definitely be going back!

It was great to be back at the Atlantic. We always went there with our kids to enjoy the beach. This time it was the two of us for our anniversary. The room was comfortable and clean. The view was spectacular and it was lovely to have a porch over the beach.
