The prices are reasonable for vacation souvenirs and the cashiers were infectiously jubilant. The coffee station is a neat touch and convenient for neighboring lodging businesses.

Every time me and my family went into the shop we were greeted with smiles, and great comments or laughter. Amazing products, all the which are extremely affordable. My son is a black belt in karate and we purchased a Walking-stick with an eagle carved at the top. He joked around with two different attendants on multiple days we were there, about purchasing one which we purchased it at the end of our stay. We also looked at purchasing a deck of playing cards, and my son was able to open them up and look at each one of them in front of the attendant. Again, super nice, joking having a blast. These are the people who need to be recognized. The others, who are shopping need to understand that they just need to be, appreciative and supportive of all of attendants hard work.Let’s just be kind to one another!!

I finally had a chance to stop in and take a look around. There are so many fun items here. The lady running the store was very friendly too. I will be back. There is more I want to buy for me, not just the kids. Reasonable prices too.

The shop and especially the lovely woman behind the counter who I believe is the owner is literally the Hidden Gem of wells. My girlfriend and I have been here twice in the span of 3 years and always leave satisfied with the quality of what we get and her level of service. She puts a smile on every customers face that I've ever seen go in and out

My husband & I went the other day. I didn't go in because I can't wear a mask. As soon as the lady realized that I wanted to buy a sweatshirt because it was chilly out she not only told my husband he could take them out to me so I could see them she came to the doorway too help us with the sizes etc. She was very kind & gave is great customer service. Plus the price was very reasonable as well.

The Beachcomber is the "hidden gem" of Maine! Not only is the staff great but if you get there early enough you can grab a cup of Joe and take a stroll on the beach without paying to park. We bought several items, finding the selection and price reasonable.

I have very fond memories of this place. It was owned by a very good friend of our family, twin sisters who have both since passed on. They graciously invited us to spend two summers in Wells Beach, Maine, when I was a young kid. I know it is under new ownership but I am confident that it will still provide the great service to traverlers and vacationing familes as we enjoyed many years ago.

We used to visit this shop for beach supplies & clothing. It was almost always our first stop in Wells. I am so glad the shop is still open!
