Best pizza and ice cream on the island! The pizza crust is crisp, fluffy, and flavorful. Even the cheese pizza alone has great spices on it that make toppings unnecessary. Plus the ice cream is perfect. It's island prices for sure, but totally worth it. Plus they have sandwiches and an amazing selection of beers and wines for such a small location.

Best sandwiches on Monhegan. Made to order or premade. Good beer and wine selection as well.

Great ice cream and great food. Most of the food is made to order and is very good. If you need a quick night they have chowder and cold sandwiches ready to grab and go.

The Novelty is a small shop that sells food and drinks on Monhegan Island. It has restrooms outside which is a must know here on the island. Inside they have a shorter menu of items, a bunch of different beers and wines, and a few souvenirs too. Service here is quick as most things are either cold items in the case or pizza. Pizza is pretty good here, just wish the lobster rolls had some butter, mayo or a toasted bun.

Good pizza and ice cream. Friendly service. Prices are high, but remember- it's expensive to run a business on an island.

The Novelty is a long-standing stop on my Monhegan day trip itinerary. It's particularly good for ice cream after a hike. If you head back to the village from Gull Cove on trail #5 it'll take you to the Novelty.

Pizza seemed a bit dry so we only had the ice cream here and it was delicious!
