Awesome little store. They have an amazing assortment of food . I had the Lobster Benedict, and in the case next to me you can buy Live Maine Lobster. Out front is 1 gas pump just incase you need to top off as you drive around town.

The general store is cozy but still has all the basic necessities one might need on a trip to Port Clyde. They have everything from toothbrushes to fresh and even live seafood! The restaurant aspect of the store had cheerful service and delicious food. I would highly recommend the Port Clyde General Store to anyone who is looking for a yummy breakfast or a nice treat.

We had a fun stop at this cool general store. The place is chock full of good food, gifts and treats. We even bought a scratch ticket, hoping we'd win the Maine lottery. No luck but we scored some Urban Farm Cider and a few other treats.

What a beautiful location with such a nice store full of character. We stopped here for lunch with our family of five. The staff was incredibly friendly and hard working, especially during these hard times when staffing is so challenging. The food was terrific and the portions were huge. We had a beautiful lunch on the water and are so glad we stopped. We will absolutely be back the next time we’re nearby.

Traditional general store that I absolutely love! Awesome breakfast and lunch items just like you'd expect from a homey place like this, with the bonus of fresh fruit smoothies, lots of local goods, local and regional craft beer, even local produce! Excellent selection of essentials, pantry staples, souvenir items.. and wonderful staff!! A much-needed merchant at the end of a beautiful peninsula.

We ate breakfast at the General Store during our 2 day stay at the Seaside Inn across the street. Super breakfast prepared in a timely manner. These 2 meals were the best meals we had on our 2 week road trip in New England. Forget lobster - go to the Port Clyde General Store for breakfast or lunch. Good food, served right

Well stocked general store. We didn't expect much off season (October 2017) so were pleasantly surprised. Well informed staff who were willing to go the extra mile. Delicious sweet potato fries! Generous portions and cooked to perfection.

Extremely well-provisioned store for its location, way down at the end of a sparsely populated peninsula. Packed with items. Has a deli, fresh fruits and veggies, fresh seafood. Many items you would not expect like Matcha drinks, healthy soup in jars, steaks, butter lettuce. Way more than some typical Maine Irving type convenience store full of just beer, chips and jerky! Fresh food served. All without having to go all the way to Thomaston. It can be hard to get help with the lobsters and seafood. But people who complain about the store have lost their minds and are probably just being political or grumpy, which is typical around there.

Cozy little eat at bar. Down to earth friendly atmosphere. The absolute BEST lobster stew & clam chowder compared to many other places on our 10 day visit to the coastal area.

The store, the lunch counter, the location, everything is an absolute gem all around.
During COVID peak they even installed plexiglass dividers at the lunch counter with little semicircles cut-outs in the bottom to receive your meal. What a great safety idea!

Delicious breakfast, fast service, and some of the most friendly, hardworking, and attentive staff. We left happy and full. P.S. the blueberry pancakes are fluffy and delicious!

Few similar far coastal communities have such a well-provisioned store. Much more than just another "beer and cigs" convenience store. Healthy, modern choices

A little store where boaters can get a little of everything they need except boat hardware. Groceries, ice, hot coffee, pizza, moorings in Port Clyde, etc.
