Squid Ink Coffee

You can’t get a better location than this when you need your caffeine fix ☕ Squid Ink has incredible espresso, and always a fresh baked good that you can’t say no to. The girls behind the counter are friendly and helpful, a pleasant experience when you’re looking for a cold refreshing reprieve on a hot summers day. This particular day we popped down to Port Clyde from Belfast to celebrate my moms birthday. After a few hours in the sun we needed an afternoon pick me up and my husband grabbed an ice coffee with cream that was super smooth and flavorful- mom had an iced mocha that was perfectly blended. The biscotti like cake had a great flavor and texture and it was hard not to go back for a second one for the road. Coffee shops like this are hard to come by, and even more rare with an on the wharf experience. Must visit!

I got a latte and rugelach to top off my caffeine levels before getting on a boat, and this was PERFECT. The latte was delicious, and the rugelach was so much more than I expected. I figured it'd be more pastry than anything, but it is PACKED with fruit and nuts and seeds. It was such a surprise and so delicious.

I was starving at the end of my trip, and I don't know how I would've made it had I not stumbled on this place.

And if you're not getting on a boat, this area is super charming and there's so much art. It's fun to walk around from business to business, and there's a beautiful rocky beach nearby!

This is our third year visiting Port Clyde and have enjoyed visiting Squid Ink Coffee each time we come. This is a daily staple for our family. The staff and owners are so friendly and inviting but the real star of the show is their pup who can be seen visiting and loves to be pet. Thank you for making us feel welcome to your little town ❤🦞🦑

One of my local espresso shops. It's pretty simple... Coffee. You can find things to eat at the Dip Net next door. There are some pastries and much items though. I've never been disappointed with the cappuccinos here. Then you have the million dollar view sitting outside watching folks get on the Mohegan ferry. It ain't shabby.

Better than Zoot! The best coffee bar in midcoast Maine. Not what I was expecting from Port Clyde, but the coffee really is wicked good. I particularly recommend their iced lattes. I also had a really good croissant, which was another pleasant surprise. Squid Ink gets me through the workday and puts a smile on my face. Nothing more I could ask for :)

Great ambiance and a couple of seats right on the water in Port Clyde. Watch the ferry leave for Monhegan with your favorite espresso drink or excellent drip. I come back every time I'm in the area.

A must stop before a trip to Monhegan! The Nutella lattes are my favorite.

Found a glass squid, and on the bottom said to visit for a reward. Which we did and got some coffee. Friendly staff and good flavorful coffee!

Try the Halva Latte (Tahini/Sesame) mixed in. Wasn't sure if there was coffee in this too. Nonetheless it was very mellowing.
