Wonderful hotel experience! The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, full of great suggestions, and did everything to make us feel at home! The hotel was clean, modern, and in a wonderful location, restaurants, thrift stores, areas to walk and explore. Will be coming back here

I stay at alot of Holidays Inns and this one by far has been the best. The bed was extremely comfortable. The location is beautiful. The breakfast was top notch for a free breakfast. If I had one complaint it would be the shower preasure. But overall I will recommend and stay here again.

I stayed here for a mini vacation. Millie,Jeff E, and Jones were sensational. The staff is very friendly,professional and accomadating. My room was very clean. The breakfast had many options. There is a grocery store close by,along with many restaurants. Thanks again! Looking forward to coming back.

While the room was clean, well appointed and seemed to have been recently upgraded, I have come to expect this in hotels in this price point regardless of brand. For me it's all about the people. Friendly and professional staff made the difference for me at this property. They treated me as I would like my clients to be treated by my staff. Highly recommend this property.

The night before we checked in, I called the property to check on our reservation, and I'm so very thankful I did. The woman I spoke with could not have been more helpful. She helped me fix our reservation. DO NOT USE BOOKING, EVER!!! Call the property and make reservations through them. Every person at that Holiday Inn was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

Holiday Inn Express located in Wells, Maine is a very nice hotel. From the grounds/ landscaping outside to the front desk to our room; everything is extremely nice. This is one of the very best Holiday Inn’s that we have seen this year. Everything is very clean. The WiFi works great. The beds are so comfortable. The room rates are very reasonable for the quality of this hotel. We highly recommend this hotel and we hope that we can stay here again very soon.

Recently spent the night with my family and we had a fantastic stay! We had an issue with our room and the problem was handled quickly and professionally. A very clean hotel with friendly staff. Would definitely stay again!

This has been one of the best hotels I've stayed at here in Wells. Great location, decent size heated pool, the breakfast was yummy. Kayla at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Will visit again for sure.

The hotel is clean, the rooms were very comfortable, the location is great, the breakfast was better than expected. Even the pool is great if you have kids with you and are stuck with a rainy Maine day. We had some issues leading up to arrival with ensuring we had adjoining rooms for our kids, but they addressed that and ensured our needs were met. We travel to Wells annually, and will definitely be planning on staying here for future visits.

Absolutely loved the place. Comfortable beds, great breakfast. The people on the front desk at check in were super friendly and most helpful. Great staff and the place was well taken care of. Nice and clean

I love this place one downside is entitled guest who think because they paid for a room they can do what they want even if it disturbs other guest..people a hotel room is not a playground for your children have some respect for others take your kids to the park..all night long we listen to the kid above us run back and forth jumping on the bed then off manager had a talk with them wich made it worse then they joined in by stomping on the floor...2 night with no sleep not enjoyable at all ..not the management's fault ..rude guests suck

Location is great, close to the beach, and attractions and restaurants.

Might be a little noisy of filled. Pretty empty in April when we went.

Nice pool. Coin laundry, plenty of parking.

Breakfast is typical hotel buffet. Eggs potatoes, bacon or sausage. Buns, cereals, toast.

All day coffee.

We had a good night stay here. The room was quiet, clean and good size. The breakfast was decent and complimentary. The neighborhood is a combination of green forest and good restaurants. Staff was nice and friendly. There are bike rentals outside of pool.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. Quiet, off the beaten path, and clean, plus breakfast in the morning from 7 - 10 am and not one of those "continental breakfast" either. Cleanliness, attention to detail and a warm inviting environment definitely left a great impression upon me.
Wells Beach is only about 5-10 minutes away and if you need a grocery store, Hannafords right across the street. I would definitely return to get away from it all. Keep up the great job.

The front desk staff were so kind and compassionate. Our car broke down after we checked out and they let us stay indoors and get an extra coffee. The rooms are always clean, big bed and shower. Would definitely recommend!

Accomodations were great. Staff friendly and helpful. Everything was great.

We stayed here at the end of October and the 1st of November and had an excellent stay. The place is very new and I think they are still working on a few little things, but nothing that impacted us and there was no construction noise or dust.

We loved the location, very close to a beach and quite a few restaurants. We strongly recommend The Steakhouse - yes that's the name - it was awesome in every way...totally lucked upon that when The Maine Diner was closed. About that-in the off-season some places close early or just close up for late fall/Winter so CALL ahead, don't rely on the internet. We also like Varano's Ristorante Italiano which is basically adjacent to the property, you have to walk out to the road to get to the entrance-but it really couldn't be much more convenient. They were very good-not quite as amazing as The Steakhouse-but worth going back. Anyway, there is a lot of stuff in or close to Wells, and that really made for a great stay.

The building is new and so everything is ultra-clean and fresh. The room had USB plugs everywhere and the TV was massive-I have to guess 60-65 inches! The beds were excellent and I liked how the fridge and microwave were near the front of the room so they are over tile-it's a good thing for cleanliness imo.

Breakfast was very good, for a hotel, hot stuff, cold stuff, the usual fare. They have coffee and tea all day. There is an outside patio area off the breakfast area-and while it was fall-like cold, we did go out and sit for a little.

In short, we had a great stay. We tend to stay at a lot of Hampton Inn's and Holiday Inn Expresses, I tend to favor the former and this felt like one of them...overall very pleasant. The staff was great too! We will be back. Oh, and if you are in the area, we can't recommend the little hike at Rachel Carson just a bit North off route 9. It's like 20-30 mins and pretty year-round.

Perfect spot for a trip to Wells. Off the busy flow of US 1. Close to the beach and local conveniences. Great staff. New facility.

We had a really good experience here , we had an emergency situation that required us to look for a place to stay in the middle of the night . Judee at the front desk was more than welcoming and understanding and helped us book a room , even though it was late at night she was very positive and helpful . The continental breakfast was also nice as well . Would stay here again
