Rock City Coffee!! This is one of those coffee shops that becomes a regular place you go to meet a friend, a work for an hour or just run in quick to get a cuppa!! All the staff are so friendly and the atmosphere is cozy! Great little bookstore in the back

CUUUUTE bookstore! Right off the cafe it’s an adorable little corner of literature. You can find any genre and they have a wonderful collection for the size of the space. Found a book for my daughter and a book I had on my reading list, always a treat when checking out a small bookstore

After two years of vacationing in the area, this is officially a favorite stop! We absolutely love the curation of books. Coincidentally, I recognized the employee (I don't remember their name, but they have long hair) from previous visits. Both times, they were really knowledgable about the books I grabbed and their authors. They're such an unsung hero being able to share their knowledge and passion with customers!

Had a great first visit to Hello Hello Books today! Jacob was so kind with their suggestions and looking up books for me. Everything about this bookshop is intentional from the books and merchandise sold to the posters on the wall. It’s a welcoming, beautiful space that I can’t wait to revisit!

Coffee shops and bookstores always go together well - both being time-tested mental stimulants. Hello Hello Books is located in the back of Rock City Coffee It's a small but comfortable and cozy place filled with an elegantly curated selection of books - new and used. Almost every time I go in, I am surprised by a serendipitous discovery - whither it be the two volume collection of Lynd Ward's woodcut books, a copy of Borges' Labyrinths or the latest book on memory by Lewis Hyde. They are excellent all the way around: local history, essays, poetry, fiction and literature, children's books and current bestsellers. It's a a beautiful locally owned, independent bookstore.

Very well curated book store. It’s small but mighty in its offerings. The staff is friendly and helpful. It’s a bright space with a good rotation of books. I always find something new to read.

Hello Hello Books is first and foremost a great independent bookstore. How they manage to offer the incredible selection of books- new and used - they do in their small space is beyond me. But Hello Hello is more--they are real community members. If you live in the mid coast of Maine, likely you already know Lacey snd Jacob and how they, and the store, make this a better place to live. If you come to visit Maine, a visit to Hello Hello in Rockland could be a highlight of your visit. Don't miss it!

Awesome small town book store - I shop here frequently. A mix of of new and vintage books, unusual magazines, and cool stuff. Extremely friendly and helpful owner and staff. It's located inside and at the rear of Rock City Cafe. Great hours!

Hello Hello is a fairly small shop in terms overall space, but the selection makes it the one place you'll usually find the new book you're looking for. Unlike most of the local stores, it doesn't cater to tourists with a dulled selection of summer reading for those who don't want to think - it is a bookstore with a mission. While it has a large selection of used books, I spend a lot of time at the front new tables, which are stacked with BLM, feminist, environmentalist, lgbtqiaa+, pro-legalization, and liberal nonfiction materials as well as a good mix of big 5 and indie press authors.

Yes, this is a progressive bookshop and we like it that way. Really, my only complaint is that they don't have more new stuff on the shelves. Oh, and I would like them to have feminist magazines so I don't have to drive an hour to Augusta anymore.

Small but eclectic collection of books. They also offer a trade program where you can bring in older book that you don't read anymore for store credit. Also an attached cafe for a wonderful afternoon in!
