Had a fun experience here with my team members making our own candles. The best part was picking out the scents. We made two candles each because they had Make One Get One 50% off all candle making vessels. After your candle is done you will have to wait an hour for the wax to harden. My team went to dinner and came back right before they close at 7PM to pick up the candles.

such a cool and fun place! my wife and i decided to come here for her 40th birthday and it was a great choice! cameron was super helpful and answered all of our questions along the way. the end result were some great smelling candles that are even better knowing we made them ourselves!

Fantastic for birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, you name it. Their selection has grown the past year and the employees obviously have a passion for the candle/fragrance industry. Definitely a go-to when compared to other store brands/prices.

What better to do on a Sunday afternoon than make candles. First time ever doing so. Megan and Jason were very welcoming to my group and I. They explained everything perfectly and if you forgot, they were right there to help. Highly recommend you try them out, especially on a sunday afternoon. Whenever I'm back out that way I will definitely stop by again. You guys were great and keep continuing to be great!!

These candles are not only locally made, but they smell great and last a long time. I like gifting the smaller tin candles as gifts, and bring out of town friends here to make their own candle (about $25 per candle).

Really fun store! Great for gifts and you can also make and take your own candles.

Took my 6 and a half year old to do the sand candle at the main branch in the Kalamazoo Mall. He had a blast. The woman behind the counter was super friendly and took time to talk to him and ask him questions about his candle. Great experience.

It was my first experience with Kalamazoo Candle Company today and it could not have been better. The associate that helped me, Cameron, was the best! They were very helpful and a pleasure to talk to, giving us suggestions for things to do around town.

We had a group of ladies make candles on a girls weekend. We loved it! I recently made another online purchase. I accidentally put the wrong scent. I immediately emailed them and asked to switch the scent. They gladly switched the scent for me. The candle shipped fast and was packaged for shipping extremely well. Their airfresheners for the car lasts a long time and aren't overpowering.

Brought my family of 4 in to make candles on our trip to Kalamazoo. Upon walking in, tables were pre set up for candle making. Checking in at counter to express interest in both the pour wax candles and the sand candles, we were politely given instructions on how to make each. After a quick instruction we were able to start the process by picking out a glass jar and our scents. Our kids 6&7 had a great time creating their own candles. After finishing, we were able to leave all 4 candles to wait until cooled for pick up. We arrived same day just before closing to pick up and they were in a bag with added protection ready to go. Great experience!!!

I sure do love a good candle shop. There are a multitude of scents to select from, as well as the ability to create your own candle. With that, there are tons of different (flavors, lol) to choose from, making the combinations available nearly endless.

I had a great time here!! Definitely gooo!! The prices were not bad at all and the service was amazing honestly stumbled in to use the bathroom and couldn’t resist to make one😌

Did a candle making session with my nephew. We had so much fun! Lots of scents to choose from. Staff was extremely helpful. I can highly recommend!

I cannot say enough good things about this business! I started buying candles from here a few years ago and now come back for all my candle needs! Amazing products and wonderful staff members, I highly recommend purchasing from Kalamazoo Candle Company!

Took my wife here because she loved candles. The experience was awesome and she enjoyed picking her scent and making her candle. Staff were helpful and explained the process of what to do. It didnt take that long make the actual candle, which wasn't bad. Choosing your scent was probably the hardest part (lol just don't be too indecisive)they said it would take about an hour or so for the wax to harden which was fine. Since we were in no rush and live in the area we just picked it up the next day.

This was our last day in Kalamazoo and I'm so glad we found this place! It was a great experience and so fun creating our own candles designed to our specific tastes! The staff was also amazing and very helpful! We will definitely be back!!

We stopped in while we were out celebrating my sisters bachelorette party and this place was so much fun!! So many fragrances to choose from, a good selection of jars you could pick for your candle and the girl helping us that worked there was just the sweetest and most helpful ❤ There were 5 of us total and we all had so much fun! Great place to stop in when your in Kalamazoo for sure!

Man where do I even start? Awesome staff, awesome owner, and incredibly strong fragrances- but not too strong! One of these candles will make your house smell so good. My favorite is the seasonal sugar spruce scent, really great quality candles that burn evenly for a good price. You can even go and make your own there! Super cool and worth a visit.
