Stewart & Company Fine Furniture and Interior Design

Excellent fine furniture store. It's a much larger store than it appears, and they have a nice parking lot in the back. We came in (on a Friday) because we purchased a Stressless brand recliner out of state that was damaged by our movers and we hoped since they sell Stressless here (and they have a large selection here too) that they might be able to help us get it fixed. We left our information with them and on Monday they called back and Monday afternoon a service man (Steve) came to the house and was able to fix it for us! We are so very grateful for their help and we will certainly buy something in the future from them as customer service and good quality furniture are the most important things a customer wants when buying things they want to last. And if you've never had Stressless furniture, please stop in and try it.

This is exactly what we wanted when shopping for furniture. We walked the entire store unmolested, and when we had the chance to look at everything and get a feel for the really nice furniture they had someone came to help us. Even then it wasn't a pushy kind of help, it was a sincere ask to us, whether we had any questions. The store already discounts off of the manufacturers suggested price, but since we were interested in a discontinued floor sample we got an even better deal.

Because we needed a specific delivery plan, (sorry we are so high maintenance), the owner Cindy helped our sales person Jim out with the details. She really made the extra effort to find a delivery window that worked around our plan to take our grandson to see a movie that was coming out. We looked all over town and even looked in Chicago, but nothing compared in quality and value to what we found here.

So we left buying a dining room set and delivery was even sooner than we thought they would be able to accommodate. Thanks (Jim and Cindy) for the wonderful help finding something great that will match our home.

Cindy Stewart and her assistant, Ashton, were absolutely incredible. I couldn't have asked for more. We must have met 3 times at the the shop, looking at swatches and figuring out how the pillows would be arranged.. They came out once not just to measure the sofas but to bring more swatches they thought I might like. They wanted me to have just what I wanted as much as I did. It was a wonderful experience.

I purchased maple bedroom dressers, bookcases, living room couch and leather recliner in 1992. I am still very happy with the quality of this furniture. My kids are now grown, so I am downsizing. I will be selling the couch this week and am able to proudly show how good the quality is. The money we spent 25 years ago on this furniture was a reach for us then, but well worth the quality.

I received great customer service when I went in S&C the other day, I appreciate the prompt courteous service. The salesperson was patient, kind and knowledgeable. I think his name was James!!

Family owned for 75 years. Cindy Stewart and staff are a very customer-oriented group of professionals. If you cannot find what you're looking for at Stewart & Company, it simply does not exist.

One of the BEST places to shop in Kalamazoo fir quality fine furniture. Sales people are helpful, not pushy.
