Geyer's Liquor Store

A nice in and out kind of place, small but has a lot of choices and options to decide on what you want. From what I have experienced always friendly regarding the fella at the cashiers' place. Talkative and sometimes makes some funny jokes or funny remarks of the sort.

If they don’t have it, they usually order it. The owner is very nice and accommodating.
Plus, all the workers have been very nice and helpful!

I used to go to this party store often when I lived in the area years ago and planned to stop here as I arrived in town tonight.... I had a very long day (and week) at work and drove 5 hours afterwards to get to Traverse City. I planned to stop here for some beverages but arrived at 10:10pm, right after they closed! I tried the door but of course it was locked. As I was getting back into my truck, a gentleman opened the door and waved me over to let me in! He was very friendly and I was so grateful that I didn't have to find somewhere else to stop. Excellent customer service!!!

The gentleman behind the counter was friendly and polite. I feel because I hadn't tied my boots properly and he was concerned primarily for my well being he brought me a towel for my hand which was bleeding. So besides MY clumsiness i had a wonderful experience here.

Cool little spot to pick up a few things on the way home. They always have my favorite local wines, beers, and liquors. As well as ice cream or snack when you need!

The staff is always super friendly and I love seeing their smiling faces on the other side of the counter.

So happy to have moved closer so that I can become a regular to this place!

Cashier working tonight was amazing! Customer service is often lacking at places. This guy was so nice to everyone that came in. Very upbeat. Thanks for the help!

Traverse City is full of wonderful places and I love to support local businesses. That being said this is our "gem" . The staff is very friendly of course but knowledgeable as well. We have crossed all of Traverse to buy from these people, and will continue to do so.

This is my favorite place to buy alcohol of any kind. It isn't a huge store, so if you're looking for a specific wine or something it's possible they won't have it, but the staff is knowledgeable enough to make recommendations for similar products. I literally have never gotten a bad recommendation from any employee there. Plus a clerk once talked to me about the batman vs superman movie that I hadn't seen at the time. He was informative without giving up any spoilers.... That kind of thing is very important to me in a party store.

Joe is a cheerful and extremely helpful employee who commands a vast sum of knowledge about all things spirit-related. Ask for a recommendation and you won't be disappointed.

Geyers is one of the best places in the Traverse City area if you need anything from beer to liquor to renting a keg for your wedding. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

Always been here and hasn't changed much over the years I'm always seeing someone a little too drunk walking to get liquor here it's quite funny but dangerous cause it's on a busy road! But the prices are good. 👍
