Mike's Clam Shack

One of the best seafood places I've been to in my life! I came from out of state and this place was absolutely amazing I had to try lots of things and was not disappointed. Definitely a bit pricey because of the quality but unforgettable!

Pleasant wait staff. Casual atmosphere. Prices were reasonable. I had a garden salad with tuna salad on it. The ingredients were fresh and very tasty, and the portion was large enough to make two meals. My wife had a clam roll, and said it was "to die for!".

We came here for dinner and had a great time. Started off the fried Pickles and Chicken Fingers, which were both great. For dinner I had a combination, Baby Shrimp and Haddock Nuggets. It was an excellent entree.
Our server, Mary P, did a great job and we look forward to coming back here!

This place has it all!! Not just excellent sea food but a variety of meals to choose from. I had the chicken cutlet parm sandwich, it was to die for! Enough for 2 people. The sweet potato fries were crispy and delicious! We ate in the pub side. They had a solo guitarist who was great! Fun atmosphere for delicious food and cocktails. The waitress was very nice and friendly with excellent service. Wish I lived closer I'd be a regular for sure!!🤤👍👍

Haddock nuggets with a baked potato and butternut squash; all were excellent. ❤❤

Fried scallops with french fries and fresh corn all were excellent.❤❤

This place is huge, so we almost never have to wait for a seat even during the busiest time, July and August.

There was excellent live entertainment being streamed inside too.

We ordered takeout from Mike's: Seafood Alfredo and Baked Haddock. Everything was delicious. I marveled at how the fish was baked, but not dried out. Can't wait to go back!

Since I was little my grandmother always took my sister's and I here. It is still the best around! So good we ate here two days in a row. If you ever don't know where to go... GO TO MIKE'S!

The best lobster roll in Maine has been dethroned after a two year title. Mikes clams shack has the best lobster roll in Maine. Every bite had to much lobster which is never a bad thing. Lobster was that fresh fresh. Like the chef himself had a boat in back, retrieved his lobster pot and made this roll from heavenly delight. Bun was toasted something nice with a nice crunch buttery bite. Lobster was laying on a small bed of lettuce at the bottom of the roll which complemented it oh so nice. Fries were perfect as well. When I say I WILL be back Mikes Clam Shack I mean it. I WILL BE BACK FAMILY.

Great atmosphere friendly waitstaff delicious food, it is pricey but you definitely get what you pay for. Lobster Mac and Cheese was exceptional I had about 5 full size claws and some chunks mixed in with the creamy Mac and cheese. My other half got the fried clams medium portion with onion rings which was a great amount of both. Will definitely be back

If you love good food, cold beer, sports, and a great atmosphere.... this is the place for you. We visit Wells every year and we eat at Mike's at least twice every time. The food has always been excellent; I have had burgers, steak, lobster, shrimp, and have always left happy and full!

We are staying in the area and every one we asked said this is the place to try I'll tell you it did not disappoint great atmosphere Lively, our waitress was quick friendly and on top of everything, coconut shrimp appetizer was perfect our drinks came quickly, I got the surf and turf broiled haddock and steak usually for a smaller piece of steak restaurants overcook them this was cooked a perfect medium with a very decent size baked haddock food was just delicious, real French fries. Eat until I just couldn't anymore.

Stopped here for lunch on our way to York Harbor. Lots of cars in the parking lot, which we took to be a good sign. The dining room was full so we sat in the bar area. Outside seating was also available. Service was excellent. I had steamers, which were delicious, and my husband had the lobster stew, which was chock full of lobster. I am already planning our next visit!

Every vacation in Maine requires a stop at Mike's Clam Shack, which my family considers the BEST seafood hands down. Fresh everything! Haddock sandwiches and clam chowder with oyster crackers are a must! Awesome salads, too. They also have to go options for those who prefer to take their meals with them.

I normally don’t rate places like this a 5 that are not fine dining or extraordinary experiences, but for what Mike’s is it’s a solid dining option, especially with specific selections. Examples: 1. Cup of lobster stew is light with almost 1 lb. of lobster meat 2. Turkey dinner is two meals, alway tender, juicy and fresh. Both great values. Prime rib & Steamers are also stars on the menu. The menu is large with diverse choices to accommodate whatever mood your in. Focus on seafood obviously but so many other things to choose. Tons of beers on tap, big drink and dessert specials. Weekly dinner specials and Happy Hour deals. Great service tops it off.

Delicious food. Loved the onion rings!! Service was very good. We went for a late lunch, 2pm... no wait.

Some of the fairest prices for good food we found. Stopped at two other seafood places before Mike's Clam Shack and the entire family enjoyed this place the most. They have options for people who don't like seafood and great specials for those that do. Best creamy clam chowder I tried and they had quick seating on a busy Thursday night. Great waitress and lovely outdoor seating (covered and uncovered) during July 2020. We tried the lobster bake special and it was a huge hit. Definitely worth the stop.

A must if you're visiting Wells Beach. The fried clams, fries, & tartar sauce were absolutely delicious! Nice atmosphere, great service, and plenty of parking.

Recently went to Mike's Clam Shack in Wells and was very impressed. The place is huge, and lots of seating, the wait should be minimal even when busy. The service was good and the food was excellent, plan on returning soon and will do a full review at that time.

This place has the best Lobster stew you will ever eat! Worth every penny! Filled with lobster! Delicious!!!
