Amazing 👏 best fried seafood plate. YUM. ADDED a large onion rings. Also blueberry hard lemonade 7% alcohol. YUMMY. had Halibut, clam straps, Scallops, fries, slaw and Shrimps.

Forbes' is a great restaurant on Wells, Me beach. Their burgers are delicious. The blend of meat is unlike anything else. Juicy and tasty. Their ice cream is rich and creamy but be warned: the servings are insanely huge. A medium is enough for 2 or 3 people. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Even though Forbes is a "beach" place where many get their food as takeaway, the quality of the food is great. They also offer seafood but the burgers are so good....I never get to the seafood.

This is the best spot in town. The wait staff were very cordial and accommodating.

The people working are so nice and welcoming and the food was great! Everything was cooked perfectly. It felt comfortable to be there and seemed like the workers had a good spirit

We got fish and chips, chicken nuggets and fries, and cheeseburger boxes and sodas yesterday and we were all very happy with the food. The fries, nuggets, and fish were crisp, not soggy at all and the the kids were surprised at how flavorful and crunchy the chicken was. The fish wasn't overcooked and they carry Coke products which is nice. My husband picked the food up along with our daughter and they felt the service was polite as well.

Edit: We ended up going twice the week we were in Maine, it was the best restaurant we found in the area and we were really happy with the prices, the service, and the food in comparison to the other restaurants. I liked the tartar sauce a lot and the fried clams and fish especially are great.

We ordered the fish and chips to go. It’s the best we’ve had! It’s a cool rainy day today so they gave it to us in a nice cute box and we ate in car facing the ocean. They give you lemon and the best tarter sauce! And ketchup too! So fresh and good and a great price compared to other places which are priced higher. Some of these reviews suck. Give them a chance.

We wanted something quick without going far from Webhannet Dr. We decided to go to Forbes- we haven’t eaten here since my daughter was diagnosed celiac - but she wasn’t home. I had coconut shrimp and my son and husband had wraps. Very big wraps. We all liked our food a lot. Fries were great - not greasy. We ordered online and picked up. Very easy in a very short time span. Would definitely get lunch there again.

Best food on Wells Beach. Clams, lobster, ice cream. 100 years family owned!!

Seems like they know how to handle a rush. Even with only one waitress, my food came out very quick and was tasty. My daughter and I had ice cream for dessert. Only 5 dollars for both of our ice cream dishes. Dont forget the great view.

Nice restaurant, mostly geared towards take-out...indoor and patio seating available with limited table service. Nice view of the ocean. Parking available next to the building. We had a very enjoyable lunch.

This is my favorite place in Wells! Right on the beach and perfect spot for easy to-go/social distancing. Best lobster roll and fries. The ice cream they have here is amazing- Shane’s Of Maine. I’ve been getting their frappes since I was a kid, there’s nothing better :)

The iconic seaside dinner on Wells Beach. The lobster roll (which is market priced and so can get expensive depending on the season and the current fishing success) is very good. Ice cream is available for kids of all ages.

Expensive but good quality beach food. The lobster rolls don't skimp on the lobster meat. Good homemade pink lemonade. Soft serve and hard serve ice cream not cheap, but good.

I spent $8.00 on a cheeseburger, fries and coke. I was happy with the size of the portions and how it tasted. You could tell it was fresh/non frozen beef.

A boy came out of the kitchen to ask my friend if he played fortnite, because as it turns out, and this is news to me, he looks exactly like one of the default characters. This has truely awoken my third eye. Highly recommend this experience to everyone. Oh and good shrimp.

Eaten twice so far! We actually went in not expecting much but we're delighted the food was tasty. Service was nice the staff was really pleasant.

Delicious! Got their calamari basket and it was not dry. They were so good I dont think I'll be getting them anywhere else. They won't be as good.

Very good seafood, but 35 dollars for a box of whole clams! I got calamari instead, which was delicious.
