I ordered the blueberry pie through Goldbelly and it was excellent! Not too sweet and the blueberries were very good even though they’re out of season right now. I even ate the crust!! Delicious!!

Always have to stop here while in the area! Everything is so good. Always take home a blueberry sour cream coffee cake! Yum. A must visit. Also, best blueberry pie in the area!

From Ogonquit to York you won't find coffee worth the stop. You'll find it in Wells. Head up and don't miss the turn into a backyard type bakery filled with a variety of savory and sweet baked goods that'll satisfy your needs. Staff is efficient, quick and friendly. Please tip them, this is the hardest work all year around. And let's carpe the day!!

The best cake I have ever had.
We contacted Bread and Roses this spring about our wedding cake and were interested in them because of their amazing prices and variety of flavors. We were immediately put in touch with Dee who worked with us to prepare a complimentary tasting box to choose our flavor. We went with the Erin’s Wedding Cake. Yellow butter cake, raspberry mousse and white chocolate butter cream, and it was the best cake anyone at our wedding has ever eaten. It served as breakfast for the rest of the week following the wedding too. After choosing our cake, Dee worked with us to make it exactly how we wanted it (plain so we could decorate it with our own flowers) and we also ordered a pastry platter to be picked up with it the morning of. Both were delicious. Staff were friendly, quick and helpful despite being very busy every time we went. We’ll be coming back year after year to get a slice of that cake on our anniversary. Thank you for all of your hard work Dee and the rest of the team!

Awesome little bakery and coffee shop in the heart of downtown Ogunquit. Baked goods and coffee selection all top quality.

There were so many coffee shops in the area and I was glad I came to this shop. I had a latte with oat milk and it was so delicious. They have a lot of freshly baked pastries and all looked and smelled yummy. Easy parking in and out and the employees were very friendly.

I’ve driven by Bread & Roses Bakery probably a Thousand times, each time saying to myself “I NEED to check this place out!”. Well to my delightful surprise, my son; Brycen, unknowingly brought me home an Iced Coffee & the Amazing ‘Pumpkin Whoopie Pie’ pictured below.
The cake is moist, soft & lightly sweetened unlike others that feel like you’re biting into a 1lb bag of Sugar! The nutty Pumpkin flavor of what typically is made of Cinnamon & Nutmeg is also light and tastes Fresh! Non “Pumpkin Lovers” would also enjoy this ‘Pie’ as the flavor is not overwhelming and doesn’t take away from the deliciousness of the cake!
The filling is sweet & creamy with a perfect texture. It is also slightly flavored with the Pumpkin spices but again, it is only a light flavor.
This particular “Whoopie Pie” was purchased from the Ogunquit Beanery who apparently get the pies from Bread & Roses which I Just found out while writing this review. Regardless of where it was purchased the product is Amazing and I Highly recommend checking this place out!

Too many great choices! It was packed so a little hard to see all the sandwiches and options but I can see why. Love the little alley with seating.

I go to Bread &Roses almost every day. The coffee is the best. The bakery items are fantastic, and I love the fruit and yogurt. My favorite part of every morning!

If you are in the area this is a must for blueberry treats. The blueberry whoopie pie was so insanely good. Everything tastes really fresh.

I love this place. I cannot say enough how good the foods are. You can get a slice of cake. There just isn’t enough elastic pants in the world for this place. Thank me later - go and enjoy.

Ordered a birthday cake late on a Friday for Monday pick up. The owner Mary assured me they could make it for me. What a beautiful and scrumptious yellow cake with dark chocolate icing. Everyone raved about how spectacular it looked and tasted. Can’t wait to buy another cake and other goods from Bread and Roses.
