China Star

I had take out from China Star for the first time tonight, and it was excellent. Not being from Lima, I have been looking for my Chinese restaurant, and have tried all but one other. I ordered the shrimp with vegetables with spicy garlic sauce. It was great!!!

Got takeout here for the first time. Sweet&sour chicken, beef&broccoli, and moo goo gai pan all delicious. Egg rolls also good. Crab Rangoon just okay. Will definitely be back!

Excellent buffet. The food is hot and fresh, especially at lunch. Have eaten here for years and it never disappoints.

Absolutely phenomenal food ive gone to this place with my mom for years now, the beef low mein with the beef fried rice is fantastic

I highly recommend and love this place. The family that runs this business has always been super-friendly and welcoming. The food has consistently been exactly what I expect, the price is beyond reasonable, and everything has always been fresh. The meals are always exactly how I'd cook it myself if I was that gifted in the kitchen... the right amount of veggies, eggs, etc and the portions are VERY large, so come with an appetite. I've eaten here or picked up food at least 40 times since I moved into the area 2 years ago. I'd done the lunch buffet several times when I first moved here but I generally get 2 dinners for pickup and it feeds me for at least a whole day. Definitely makes my week.

The food at China Star is absolutely delicious every time I go

Everything we've tried so far has been absolutely delicious! We travel for work, so we've been to many, many different places and this is the first Chinese places that actually has perfectly spicy dishes. My husband loves spice (we are from the South, and eat lots of cajun food). Most places will label something spicy, and it wont be spicy at all to my husband. He loves these spicy dishes!

Ordered takeout once so far. It was hot and ready when I got there. Everything tasted great, the restaurant looks nice inside. Will order again.

I've been to lots of Chinese restaurants nd can say this food is high quality and delicious! Not a fancy place but nice enuf. I take out now until they open the dinning room. Only complaint was the Sweet and sour chicken had no vegetables which we discovered when we got home. Dont know if it was a mistake or only comes with chicken.

Best Chinese restaurant in Lima!

It wasn't ok today..arrived before 2pm for lunch buffet and was told it is closed so we ordered General Tso with white rice..it was so hot and spicy could barely eat it. And the rice was hard...2 little pieces of broccoli on plate. I believe they took the food off buffet and served it to us..it was not fresh!!!!! We paid full price. PISS POOR SERVICE..NOT FRIENDLY AND THE BEST PART WAS AFTER CHOKING DOWN THE FOOD, THE LADY STARTS SWEEPING THE FLOOR UNDER THE TABLE WE ARE EATING FROM. Not going back again!!!!

Food was really tasty,, we came when the lunch buffet was almost over but the owner still cooked some dumplings when i asked. Will definitely come back, 謝謝

Food was AMAZING! Very quick, friendly service, and the staff was very helpful in working around my food intolerances! They made sure I got exactly what I wanted, and it was delicious!!

Hot drop 🍜 soup was good, I ordered extra beef broccoli, corn, carrots,celery, tofu , @ chicken..!!! If you have bad sinus like me ! This is the perfect remedy ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🍜

For quick Chinese food, it's by far one of the best spots in Lima. Very clean too. One of my favorites in Lima, reliable for good food.
