Even when I started having commercial insurance to go to the "good" places, I still come here years after they fired me as an employee. Some of the best clinicians, and humans walk those halls. Kim, Giselle, Dan, Amanda, and a few others have changed how I see my health. They are as invested my health as I am. They care.

I love this place! Dan Hodge is my primary. He is the GOAT! McKenna is my Occupational therapist She along with Sara have really helped my chronic pain in my feet. I highly recommend Family Health Center. I will always go here!

I'll start my saying I've been a patient at FHC now for about 8 years. Dr. Clark is my current doctor & I'm very happy with him, but I recently I seen Dr. Haughn for some back/spine issues I've been having & couldn't be more happy with his knowledge & bedside manner with his patients. He knew exactly what was going on with me right away. I already feel better & will continue to come back to him.

I've had nothing but good experiences at FHC, but Dr. Haughn is an amazing person & listens well to his patients needs. I'd recommend him & Dr. Clarke to anyone seeking medical needs of any kind.

New patients don't get frustrated right out the gate... You have to be in person for your initial visit so be in the walk-in line no later than 730am. I know it is early but after the initial you don't have to do it again. You will be established

I love how this facility works so hard to meet the needs of their patients, especially those with difficult socioeconomic hurdles. They really care.

I haven’t been here for a while. Just went the other day & it seems like they have updated a lot of things. Medical wise, security and safety wise, easy access for no long waits in line , etc . FHC has always been my main personal doctors office.

This facility is receiving 5 stars to mitigate all the inappropriate ratings given by people who don't understand it's purpose. This is not a private family doctor's office. This is a place for those of us who have little medical infrastructure. They see everyone, greatful or otherwise. They are understaffed yet inexpensive. You may wait or be rescheduled, but this is a place where generally you can find consistent care. An excellent place for those with little alternative.

Went there today as a walk in patient for my son's well child visit before school starts. Got in the door without an appointment at 730 am and out the door seen and ready for school by 9am. The Physicians Assistant who saw my son was compassionate, and empathetic with my son. All business, in and out, all whole receiving terrific care. Highly recommended to all ages of you are in need of a physician.

I have been going here since losing my insurance and have had nothing but good experiences. The facility wouldn't prescribe my previous sleep aid due to it being a controlled substance, they did however find me one that works just as well. The staff has been compassionate while caring for me while I work to get my blood pressure under control. I am not sure where all the bad reviews are coming from. As a person who worked in health care for over 10 years I have recommended this place to several friends.

I have been going here over a year. I have been reading the reviews and I have to say this place is loaded full of doctors and depending on what team you go to or the doctors on the bottom floor I guess makes a difference.. that being said... I go to team Oakland and all the doctors there are great! There on the top floor. I have not had a bad experience with them at all. I was pregnant and they are great my son has seen them since he was born.I would not go anywhere else.
Yes you have a main doctor but there are other doctors on this team that will see you if needed... the nurses are great as well.

I have no insurance and make very little money. Family health center has a sliding scale which allowed me to see the doctor, get lab work done, and fill 5 prescriptions without causing me financial hardships in any way. I was so ill and they scheduled my appointment the same day. My wait time was minimal and I was treated with great care and dignity by EVERYONE there. They were wonderful and I won't go anywhere else again. I love Dr. Jennifer Dykstra and recommend her highly. Best care I've received ever from anywhere!!! Dr. Dykstra really cares about her patients.

The staff have been quite friendly to me. My doctor actually listens when I tell him something and demonstrates genuine concern. He's one of the first doctors who've earned my respect. A big part of it has to do with the fact that without him, I might be a quadriplegic right now. I told him what was wrong and when and how it started. He ordered an MRI. Turns out I have compressed spinal cord in my neck. I am very lucky to be walking and breathing. It might depend on who your doctor is, I don't know. But mine is a good man. And I am grateful for his help.

Had an amazing first visit. The nurse practitioner was wonderful and my physician was amazing. She walked me through everything she was putting in my chart and had a wonderful holistic approach to my care. Would highly recommend!

I really like going here. Once you find a resident the experience is even better. They have students present for shadowing about half the time and I like that I'm able to contribute to their education and experiences.

These people have been up front and honest with me about payments, what's next for health issues, and test results. I also like that this is a non-profit health provider. They have a sliding scale for income restricted households and, though I don't qualify for a lowered payment, I really like that this is available.

The trick is to make an advance appointment through the nurse/area for the doctor you see (i.e. ask to be transferred to the team area your doctor is in) otherwise it's only day of or walk in if you schedule through the front desk.

I've lived all over the state and have gone to several hospital networks (oakwood, beaumont, Henry Ford, borgess, bronson). This place was the best full service health clinic I've ever been to. You're in and out quick, they do lab tests, interpret the lab tests they do, fill their prescriptions there at their pharmacy, and have specialists within their network and even all in their same building. They are full service and unlike other health care networks, if you have several problems you want addressed the day you go in(like lab work, pap smear and std testing for example), they will do all of those right then and there. Generally, you'd have to make several appointments for separate issues. They get your results back within like three days and call your script in immediately if you need one. Its exceedingly clean and well run and organized and the people are friendly and curteous. Anyone giving low reviews have probably only been to a limited number of places to compare but I was really blown away with mine and my husbands experience (with others I've known). Excellent, understanding doctors especially with touchy issues like drug abuse, lack of self care, etc. Beautiful facility. Great all around.

I've been coming here little over 22yrs and it has much improved over those years, I have the absolute best Dr I've ever had, his name is Dr Edward Haughn not only is he the BEST DR. But he is caring,compassionate, always positive and listens to his patients, understands their concerns, fears,and feelings, when I seen Dr Haughn the first time I knew he was gonna be my Dr, correction my (HERO) I was at one of my darkest times in my life,after meeting him talking with him i finally for the first time in a long time seen the light at the end of the darkest tunnel I've been down,THANK YOU DR HAUGHN!!!!! For being a HERO, but most of all THANK YOU FOR BEING YOU!!!!

Great and friendly staff. They were able to see me day of my schedule. I had called five other places and if they did take my insurance they were only available to see me months after i called. I will continue to come here for all of my medical needs.

I have had excellent care and get in the same day. I have gone to different doctors and all of them have been excellent. They answer my questions and supply me with information about whatever health issues I may have.
