Had a massage by Danielle and it was wonderful! The atmosphere is very nice and relaxing. Definitely will be back soon!

I got a facial and massage gifted to me for Christmas to Calming Effects. I had never been here before and it is definitely my new favorite spot.

Ireland was awesome! I was apprehensive about getting eye lash tinting done....but she explained the process and the results were amazing. My blonde lashes turned out a natural dark color. She also did my daughter's teen facial and my daughter said it was relaxing and made her skin look so good. My daughter also had a gel pedicure and her toes look perfect. I already book a pedicure and dip nails with tips for homecoming. I would definitely recommend them.

I have never had such an amazing massage! Traci was so helpful and fixed my back. I told her how me and my boyfriend switched sides of the bed because he sank in his side lol! I have never had a massage that went so in depth. She not only focused on my back, arms and legs, but went as far as to massage my head and my face! She hit all of my facial sinus relief spots. I am totally grateful for all of the ladies here and I will go back to see Traci every time!

They fit me in last minute for a massage and pedi! Everyone was super friendly and professional. I'd definitely go again!

I went to Calming Effects for a trim and some shaping for my short hair a few days ago and am so glad I did! Shelby did an amazing job and was so kind and fun to talk to. She gave great hair advice and I have had multiple people comment on how great my hair looks since the haircut.The salon is wonderful and so welcoming and down to earth. I will most certainly save my haircuts for when I visit Port Huron even though I live in Royal Oak. Thanks again!

Jesse is absolutely amazing. You can tell he really cares about doing exceptional work and strives to bring new techniques in the hit industry to his clients. You really get a big city feel in a small town atmosphere. It's the best of both worlds. I would highly recommend going to him if you want an honest, quality experience!

I go to Bonnie and she does a fabulous job 😁 every time! Bonnie, listens! She always follows through with what I ask of her and I 've never been disappointed! She knows everything about color, highlights and "dusting my ends" without taking to much off! If you're in need of a great hairdresser because your new in the area or haven't found the right one...make an appointment with Bonnie... you won't be disappointed!

Jesse does amazing work with hair!! The other Jessie did a great job giving me a pedicure. And Kimmy gives the best massages. Everyone here is so kind and the atmosphere is so relaxed and fun!!!

This place rocks! I have a special needs situation concerning a recent operation in the area of my chest. The build up of scar tissue is bad and painful. I'm suppose to work out the kinks of that tissue. It is hard for me to do that because I find it hard to inflict pain upon myself. I called to see if they could accommodate my situation and there wasn't any hesitation or problem at all with doing this area.Traci didn't hesitate to dig right in and make it hurt so good. I can tell already her touch is working wonderfully because thats what I needed. Thank You the staff at Calming Effects for making me feel comfortable and special!

I have been getting my acrylic manicures here for almost 3 years, as well as had a massage and pedicure. I love it here and all the employees do an amazing job!!
