Bob's Discount Furniture and Mattress Store

I have never been happier with a shopping experience! As soon as we walked in, James greeted us and made friends with our daughter. He wasn’t pushy, and let us browse until we needed his help. He walked around the showroom at least four times until I was sure I picked out what I wanted. He explained everything & was so honest about the different couches, and what he thought would or wouldn’t work for us with our pets & toddler. He was so kind and patient with us. He even gave our daughter some ice cream at the end, which was so nice of him!

Bob’s furniture was my second option yesterday because I wanted to make an informed decision. The store was very clean. My guest specialist Erin L was amazing! She showed me alternative options from what I initially thought I wanted. She made sure the colors and availability & delivery could happen within my time frame. She made suggestions on set up and protection plans that worked for our family. This is the third set of furniture I have purchased from Bob’s. A loving room for myself, my mother and now my father. The financing was great & with payments starting 30 days after delivery, I’ve had no problems paying the items off early. Thank you Bob’s and Erin L. For a great holiday surprise for my family with very little stress of shopping!

Lisa was a wonderful help on the floor when we where trying to pick out a couch! She was kind enough to give us our space while looking at out options! When she saw that we slowed down to look more closely at a certain couch, she would pull up all the options of that couch on her tablet and show them to us. Wonderful experience

The buying experience of my new most loved piece of furniture was so easy and so laid back. The salesperson we had, Lisa, was so chill and left me to shop while sitting with my shopping buddy keeping him busy. I must have tried every recliner in the showroom before I bought what I hope to be the perfect one. Thanks Bob

Nice store, great sales personnel who actually help and don't hover. Excellent selection of mattresses with good availability. Prices comparable with others in the area, you may do better or worse depending upon which store is running promotions at the time. Easy parking in front, handicap accessible, free candy and ice cream in the back. No matter what, you gotta love that!

Keyma was knowledgeable, helpful, and very nice! She greeted us when we walked in, let us know where everything was, then left us alone to browse the store. She answered all of our questions, and made the sale smooth and easy. Highly recommend! The free ice cream and candy cafe is a real plus when shopping with the kids too! Great incentive to make sure they behave! :)

I had a great experience each visit into Bob’s Discount Furniture store but Logan took the extra time to hear what I was specificity looking for and show me multiple options to choose from. He helped me get my delivery scheduled and my couch came quickly! My couch came with a stain on it so my delivery guys were quick to take action to get a new couch set up for me. But I ended up calling support and having yet another positive experience and decided to keep the couch as is and just receive a partial reimbursement compensation under the warranty. Overall I was very impressed with each step of the process!

Pleasantly surprised! Keyma, our salesperson, was knowledgeable and made our Bob's experience easy as pie. Jordan also made the transaction end simple and explained all the options.

We were so appreciative to get Keyma to help us with our purchases. It was very obvious that she had been doing sales for a long time, because of the knowledge she shown. She was a great people person with her personality and we did not feel pressured at all. Thank you for employing someone of her caliber. Erin took fantastic care of us! She had the perfect balance of making us feel at home but being professional at the same time! After my purchase, I got some business cards too, to spread the word!

Marie was wonderful! I went in looking for blue furniture. There was one set I liked but my husband didn't. I told Marie we would have to pass. A few weeks later a new blue couch arrived, she remembered me and what we were looking for. She texted me pictures of the new couch. We just purchased it tonight! She was thoughtful and didn't forget about us even though we didn't purchase the first set. Very nice!

Little Joe at the Portage location was great! He left me to browse at my own pace, but once I needed assistance, he was right there and took care of my every need. If you are looking for furniture, go there and seek him out, you will not be disappointed!

Keyma our sales associate was very knowledgeable and quite helpful in our furniture shopping safari. She gave us the layout of the store. She explained how the placard system presented options available and let us browse without any pressure. She was very attentive without being pushy. Top notch.

Purchased a queen sized sleeper sofa with ottoman that has storage inside plus 2 swivel chairs. The saleswoman, Chelsea, was very helpful in assisting us in our selection and making arrangements for a delayed delivery to their Grand Rapids location where we could make a pick up in a UHaul to our lakehouse. The furniture is great and we feel confident with Bob’s Goof Proof Plan which we already used to replace a defective pillow. One small issue is that there were no instructions for attaching the legs on the couch. But I called our salesperson and she provided us verbal instructions. I guess most people have the furniture delivered which includes set-up.

So my saleswoman was super friendly and also made my experience just all around great! The guy she had shadowing her actually suggested the couch I ended up getting; then when it was delivered the guys who delivered it were so sweet and Very speedy putting it together, they made sure everything worked and looked good before they left. Honestly I just had a great experience with the whole thing and I highly suggest them. Erin was my salesperson and she also sat with my little one while I did paperwork. They worked to get something I could afford and seat the amount of people I wanted to seat.

This place seems like a great value. I found a low cost sofa that appears to be well made, so I’m happy with it. Erin was great! If you can, ask for her and she will take care of you in a relaxed environment.

Erin is so easy to work with. She is funny and not pushy. She made furniture shopping enjoyable and willingly joined in with our laughter and smiles. Definitely a pleasant furniture shopping experience.

Marie was the sales associate who went above and beyond to make the easiest furniture purchase. I told her exactly what I wanted and she directed me to three different sets. She was knowledgeable on the product and helped me find exactly what I wanted.

Keyma & Anthony were kind and made sure I got everything I needed. Keyma communicated the protection plan outline, when my furniture will be delivered, when I’ll receive a text to choose my delivery window, and let me know if there’s anything else I need she’s one text away! They also were gender inclusive and used my preferred name without a hassle even when we were working with my legal name for the payment plan. I absolutely felt taken care of and appreciate bob’s furniture for supporting my first ever brand new couch purchase and making everything run super smooth! 😄 I’ll return and already have my eye on a chair purchase for next time.
