Harding's Market

Great selection of different foods. They have the option of having the bagger take out the groceries for you for free. They have a hot bar and the food is good for a grocery store. They also have a bakery love the fresh different types of breads they have here. Everyone is friendly and the store is organized and clean.

Very clean store...Very nice cashier and super nice guy who took my groceries out. I wish I had been carrying cash so I could have tipped him!

I like coming in here. It's convenient, close to home. People are friendly. Helpful. Prices are not too bad. Sales are great.

So I was strolling through Harding's with the most amazing woman. I mean, truly, you have no idea. We made our way through the deli and the baked goods area, which momentarily diverted my gaze from this gift of the gods. Those were some really good looking muffins, ya know?

Then we walked through the meat section, jostling each other and giggling like teenagers. It's amazing to be in love again so late in life, so even choosing hamburger together was a tiny little adventure. I suggested the bigger package, so we could split it up into a couple meals. We chuckled about bigger packages. We held hands.

"Do you want some Coke?" I asked, knowing how much she likes a sip after she gets up. We already know each other so well, so I knew she'd be glad I remembered her mornings.

We forgot a few things, no doubt distracted by the stars in our eyes, the butterflies in our tummies, and had to circle back around. Back to the produce section for some onion and tomato to put on our burgers. My girl is a freakin' Jedi Grill Master, on top of all the other things she excels at.

She's proud too, so she didn't want me to pay. But come on now, I'm at her house almost every night, devouring her luscious cooking while I devour her with my eyes. I'd do just about anything for her, and her for me. It's hard to believe something like this happened. It's like magic, and so our trip to Harding's was just another magical journey.

Harding's, man. Bring the girl you love, and maybe even grocery shopping will be a moment you won't forget.

This store carries Otto's chicken and I always come here to get my Boston pork butt for pulled pork. It is also a store where you can go in and get hot food and sit down and enjoy your meal. Where some of the other grocery stores and the big box chain stores do not have.

Really nice produce selection and Otto's chicken cannot be beat.

They are all so nice here ! And always have what you need !

Really clean store with BIG selection of everything.

I always love shopping local, and Hardings is a staple. This was my first time at this location and I wasn't disappointed at all. Excellent selection of products, all in stock (what I needed anyway), and all at reasonable prices. Great service from all employees encountered.

Always helpful, shelves stocked and neatly kept, cashiers not self service! Bagger that takes groceries to your car! Old time service and good prices!

This is a great place for a quick stop. It's not my regular store because of the location, but they always have what I need if I'm stopping for a last minute item or a gift for a host.

Hardings baked and decorated a beautiful and delicious baby shower cake for me. White cake with raspberry filling. Moist and delicious! Highly recommend this bakery. I wish I could upload a picture. So well done. Thank you!!

Love this store and the employees. Great service! When you walk in, there are smiles and greetings to be had. The store is very clean and has a nice selection of groceries. They will put your groceries in your car for you. Such a great experience!

Love this store! A very friendly staff and so accommodating. The meat and produce is top notch! I love this store because there are so many choices. Hardings carries many local products....Otto's chicken, Sarkozy and MacKenzie's bakery products....and many more local items! Also, they have carry out assistance which is so helpful and one of the only grocery stores in the area that still does that!

Harding's: occasional knockout sales (the buy 2 get 3 free deals are wild!) and the donuts from the bakery are among the best you'll ever have--did you know they're only 79 cents? And some of those donuts are approximately the size of a human head...for 79 cents. Chocolate frosted cinnamon rolls peppered with chopped peanuts, yeasty twists, old fashioned cake, and more.

But everyone who's anyone knows that the heart of Harding's is the staff. Harding's oddball assortment of characters deliver a bit of old fashioned, where-everybody-knows-your-name friendliness (or affectionate gruffness) in a world full of hyper markets in which you seldom meet the same two clerks twice. This is the place where some of the loneliest folks in town come to experience their daily modicum of human kindness, a place in which the checkout clerks actually take time to look their customers in the face and deliver a genuine warm welcome. You walk into this place, and what do you see? More often than not, you see smiles. You hear laughter. And that's what makes this place exceptional.

This is where I buy all my groceries (unless out of town or going to a specialty shop). The sales are on items real people use on a regular basis. If you shop here regularly and stock up on sale items, you can save a lot of your grocery money. The staff is always happy to help, even with special requests when they are able.

Update:

PLEASE stop reorganizing!!! Still "my store", but it's lost a great convenience to me of knowing right where to go for weekday I want.

And a general comment re all Harding's: I wish they would go back to Spartan for their generic brand. Several of the "Our Family" items I've tried are unsatisfactory. I now buy my Cheese elsewhere ( but won't be rude and say where ☺).

As a former employee of this store, I would not consider going anywhere else for my pharmaceutical products. Mr. Harding takes good care of me, and I feel like one of the family! On the front door of the store, it says "Welcome to Our Family!"

I couldn't believe this store. I haven't been in it in years(because of location) They had stuff I didn't know you could get anymore, Win Scheuler chips Mackinaw Island fudge, the real stuff, cookies like home made. I am going to make it a regular stop now, for sure.
