A lovely, peaceful place to walk around with a lot of varied and interesting retail stores, restaurants, coffeehouses, a candy and novelty store, even a good old-fashioned newsstand packed with magazines, paperback books, even graphic novels. The walkways are wide, clean, beautifully landscaped and benches are plentiful so you can sit and enjoy the fall breezes, the fun Halloween decorations, sip some great local coffee and watch the ducks swim by in the nearby canals. A great way to spend a gorgeous autumn day.

Went to the Farmers Alley Theater which is located in Mall Plaza. Also did some shopping & watched the holiday parade.

Easy parking. The UPS store was fast and friendly.

I've been walking that mall my whole life seen a lot of great stores come and go I hope that it stays good for years to come sorry to see VNA Bootery move out

We went on a Sunday so not all the shops were open but the candle making shop was open and we made a candle it was awesome had a very nice time staff were extremely friendly and helpful we also got ice cream cones that were delicious and the candy and soda shop was a wonderful place had an endless amount of candy and sodas they had another shop where u make ur own products it was awesome to see what you can make to help the environment staff at all the shops open were extremely friendly and helpful they had lovely clothes and bags and many nice keep sakes it made a lovely date for me and my guy just walking around checking out everything they had they even had a shop where they teach u how to paint it looked fun we got there to late they had already started a class I'd love to go during the week when all the shops were open very nice place to go enjoy the day I enjoyed it very much

I usually get a coffee at something brewing 😁 on South Street 😁....go to the city centre and there's a nice deli inside... shopping down town on the mall is a fun time... bronson park always has a benches for a while too!!🤗

To bad not everything was open but we found some open had a nice time making candles it was fun we got ice cream yummy and a soda from a nice Candy store very nice place to just walk around and admire the shops

Very nice, clean place to walk with tons of great little shops to look in.

Great area to walk around. Lots of shops, restaurants and other businesses. There are a lot of pan handlers and the smoke shop which detract from the area, but many other places make up for it. Don't forget to stop by the Spirit of Kalamazoo for some yummy ice cream or the chocolate shop for some hand made treats.

It's fun

Had lunch at The Union the other day. I ordered the 'Dirty South' burger, paired with my favorite southern drink, bourbon and lemonade...hands down, the BEST damn burger I've had in a while; honestly took me back to the last time I was in New Orleans!!

It is a small yet wonderful area offering an escape from the normally dirty look and feel that is just a block outside of it. You can go to meet, mingle, shop or stop at a coffee or sandwich shop. It is a wonderfull change of pace from the rest of Kalamazoo which at time van fees be. It is a beautiful Oasis that offers a getaway from the rest of Kalamazoo just a couple blocks outside. If you have out-of-towners coming to visit this is one place to take them that will help them leave with a good impression of the city.

Aside from the bird poop on most of the benches and the sleeping homeless, this is probably my favorite area of downtown KZoo. And really, the only not so great area is right next to the Museum. Still a nice walk.
